The earbuds are too small, but overall its a great headset.
This headset is one of the best headset that I've used. Shipping came a day early and it was simple on setting up the headset. Loving the quality and the headset itself.
It is exactly what I wanted.
Sound quality is fantastic! For PS4 I found the best way is to plug the rca to Audio/Headphone output and then plug the usb directly into the ps4-since it is not for ps4, but they do work just fine. Connecting to my PC was a breeze. I've been using this headset a lot during long LoL games, and so far so good. Will update more later if able to.
The discription says for PS4 and others. I found that in more than one spot. But wen I went to the products website gamestergear.com it said only ps3 n PC. So I took a chance. Got the box at the store. Box read for ps3 n PC. No ps4 written anywhere. Took a chance. Plugged the USB into the system and audio cord into my sound bar works fine. Or u could connect the white and red cables and plug them to the back of ur tv if u don't have a sound bar. Wired enough I unplug that a sec later and still heard sound. By the way since it IS NOT specially made for PS4 wen everything worked the game volume and chat volume nobs worked in reverse. Meaning u wud have to turn the chat volume nob up to raise the game volume and vice versa. Hope this help. If not there are YouTube vids about using old headsets this way. Or some earbuds can b plugged into the controller for sound.
Got this for my PC, works fantasticly. However do take caution due to playing games or listing to music with a lot of bass will cause the screws to come loose and start rattling around.
I received it about a week ago, but never got to use it as the cord HAD to be plugged into the PS4 and the cord wasn't long enough to reach. It wouldn't plug into the controller charger which is a LOT closer. So I sent it back and ordered a different one.
I open it. I hook it up to my PC. I put it on. I attach the mic- WHAT IS THAT? Why on earth does it create an eardrum shattering static when trying to attach the mic? And once you get it on, the mic feeds straight into the ears on the headset's end. No speaker sound is picked up by the PC. I don't even know how the sound quality is for the earphones or the mic because I didn't get that far. Absolute trash.
I purchased this product online because it stated that it was compatiable with the Sony Playstaion 4. No where on the packaging does it state that it is compatiable and there are no instructions to connect the headset to a PS4. We tried connecting the headset a number of different ways. We were finally able to hear people talking, but the game play was all static. We are returning the product unsatisfied.
The headphones seem to work fine without the microphone (which plugs in to the front seperately). When i plugged in the microphone it never worked to speak in, but scratched feedback through the headphones if you tried to adjust it. My kids use it for headphones, but no microphone. They didn't work from the start. design is poor with the seperate microphone, i would guess that even had they worked at first it wouldn't have taken any time of wear and they would have been not usable. Not worth saving the money, you'll have to buy good ones not long after anyways.
