The Gap Home 16 piece Stoneware Dinnerware set is absolutely amazing for any and all occasions! They are made of excellent quality too! They did awesome in both the dishwasher and the microwave. I loved that everything you need is included in this set. A main plate, bowl, cup, and a saucer is all included in this dinnerware set. I love the simplicity of the look too. I highly recommend this dinnerware set.
Got this a week or so ago and like it very much, big and kind of heavy but not bad. I like the size of all of the items and just right for a single person (like me) or a couple just starting out. Nice design but also have different ones to choose from. Made in China but I'm ok with that since most things are. Dish washer and microwave safe.
I was so pleasantly surprised at the make of these dishes. I wasn't sure what to expect, but they have exceeded my expectations. I love the beautiful blue with the white strip. I also love that they are ceramic instead of glass and very happy they weren't plastic. I would definitely recommend these dishes to anyone. I wish I had another set.
This 16pc dinnerware set is gorgeous. It is heavy stoneware. The simple blue design along the outside is elegant yet subtle. I personally don't use these for everyday use as I'm too afraid they'll be broken by my son. They're too heavy for him to safely carry around if needed. For me personally we use these during holidays. They are dishwasher and microwave safe. My husband loves the tumblers (we call coffee mugs). If I had older children I'd be using these as an every day set. We do use the bowls regularly since they're perfect for cereal and soup. They hand wash easily and the design hasn't faded after use. This is a beautiful dinnerware set that can be used for a multitude of occasions or everyday use.
This set is so much nicer in person than in the photos I cannot stress that enough. It has a semi-mat finish with makes the set look so much more modern and stylish. The stripes aren't just printed on but indented into the ceramic making them have a hand made look. They are a beige cream color with a dark dusty blue. They are great quality and are sturdy heavy pieces. So love these! I'm probably going to add to the set as so I have a setting for six. I can highly recommend this set it's nit too flashy for regular dinner wear but also nice enough for a nice dinner set up! They were packaged really well and shipped fast.
I was so excited after opening and laying out my 16-Piece Gap Home, Stoneware, Dinner set. They are a beautiful Royal/Navy blue with a white striped Rim. Its a perfect 4 place setting which includes 11” plates, 8” dessert plates, 6” cereal bowls and my favorite 15.5 oz mugs which are the perfect mug for drinking my morning cup of coffee. The plates are a nice weight and look beautiful on my table. My concern was cutting a piece of meat and causing scratches on the plates. But it didn't even begin to make a scratch. I am completely happy with the Gap home dinner ware set and would highly recommend them to my family and friends.
The detail of the set of dishes is absolutely beautiful. I think my favorite part is the blue is not a bright blue and it looks antique. The white etching sets it off. The dishes are on the heavy side so it feels like it's made well I can see myself drinking out of the coffee cups often. It almost had a look and feel of pottery. The set would make a nice display on top of placemats.
I received the GAP HOME 16-PIECE STRIPED RIM WHITE STONEWARE DINNERWARE SET at no cost. The following is a true and unbiased review. Really dresses up the table. Can be utilized as everyday or special event dinnerware as long as your dinner list doesn't exceed a total of four. Of course you can add to the total with additional sets. The color isn't exactly white, more of an off-white. Each piece has substantial weight to it. The design is not just painted on, it's more of a colored indentation. Washes up real nice.
GAP HOME 16-PIECE WAX RELIEF DINNERWARE SET - WHITE W/BLUE: this dinnerware set is pretty as well as functional. The bowls are large and deep, and the coffee cups are a great size. The set is heavy ceramic, the dishes appear durable, and the quality of the finish is acceptable – there are a few small blemishes in the glaze mainly on the bottom of a few of the dishes. Everything was well packed – the set arrived intact and with no chips. This is a nice, casual, everyday set of dinnerware.
Great color on these dishes. So easy to care for, they go right in the dishwasher. No worries on the microwave either. I lead a busy life and use the microwave a lot. These are great! I love the color and design. I was tired of flowery pastels and these are just perfect! The color makes your food look good too!
