I use this product in my pasta dishes, along with their meatless crumbles. They are a hearty size and taste terrific, plus no grease or cholesterol. I just add them to my dish as i am preparing it.
Keep forgetting it's not meat! This is AMAZING, new staple grocery. The taste isn't that weird vegan taste you sometimes get that's barbecue-y or sweet. It tastes just like a meatball. Texture is right and everything. Don't listen to these reviews, GET THESE.
This is a new line for plant-based foods for me -- wide variety of choices and really does taste like meat. These meatballs are seasoned well- used for breakfast patties, ground beef and hamburgers!
Really good. Have a house guest that doesn't eat meat but my pasta meal was still great. I love that they aren't greasy. I baked them in the oven. I will definitely buy them again.
These are my favorite meatless meat. Not great for you, but have a nice bite that I miss sometimes. Plus, they can be nuked quickly. I don't use sauce but alone on a pita or tortilla after nuking 2-3 minutes for 3-4.
Woa, Nelly! Easy on that fennel and possibly thyme? 5 stars if it weren't for the spices. Either way... I love these HUGE meatballs! I am a lady with a big appetite and a small bank account. (I normally have 6 regular meat, meatballs). 2-3 of these is more than satisfying, as are all good, high protein meatless option that's wallet friendly. Provalone and red gravy make them wonderful with pasta and salad or on Italian bread. I've had them just on the plate with red gravy and provalone/mozzarella mix, and fresh shredded romano on top😋 I try to detract from the almost overwhelming blend of spice blend. An Italian certainly didn't add this spice blend! Still, it is a good value compared to other Gardein options. I do love a brat, so i might have to pay 2 bucks a piece to feed the German in me with saurkraut. I will let u know how the brats are soon. I would definitely recommend these meatballs. Best made on the stove top covered in sauce or gravy of your choice. Microwave is not as good, but if you must. The ziploc on the bag works well. They keep well in the freezer. A FAST and satisfying meatless meal option will make you and pigs n cows oink %26 moo everywhere! I am NOT a vegetarian/vegan, but I AM trying to do better. Perhaps eventually I can be.
Switched over to these to lower cholesterol size is perfect. Texture is perfect. Lots of protein easy to make the one problem I would say is the fennel everything else is perfect. The bites that I take that the fennel is not there are perfect. Please consider taking out the fennel, if you look at your competitors version they have no fennel.
I wanted to like these more. The size and texture is great! But I still cannot get over how much fennel is used. It's overwhelming and not enjoyable. I tried to have 3 of them and had to stop after 2.
honestly probably and okay substitute for meatballs for others but they have an overwhelming taste of fennel and are loaded with fennel seeds. If you like fennel seeds then these would be good for you. I HATE fennel seeds and I was unable to eat these. Will not buy again.
