Over the years I have purchased and used products that either don't live up to the claims or are just OK. But I can honestly say that Gas-X really does work! Have used Gas-X for a while now, and have always had good success. Tried the Ultra strength soft-gels, and they worked as well as I expected. They were small and easy to swallow, and worked for me. I've used the regular, and the ultra seemed a bit stronger, or at least felt that way. I'd recommend this to others, especially to those that can't really swallow the larger pills. We have been users of the Gas-X products for a long time and this is the first trying the Gas-X Ultra Strength Softgels. The first thing I loved about this product is how easy they are to swallow. My son suffers from a disorder that makes swallowing larger pills difficult but these just go right down. They also work extremely fast, I felt relief within minutes. I often suffer from gas pain. To the point where it is almost crippling. Soon as I felt an on set of gas coming, I reached for Gas X Ultra Strength. Within about 30 mins I felt such relief. Dodged a bullet, so to speak. I was not aware that Gas-x even made a soft gel tablet. It is a nice difference from having to chew the usual chalky anti acid, anti gas tablets. I absolutely love Gas-X® Ultra Strength Softgels. Finally a gas product that you can swallow instead of chew. These tablets have a gel coating and work very quickly to eliminate gas and bloating. I have tried other products in the past and found them to be of little to no relief. These tablets work very well when taken after meals. I have found many foods that can cause gas and bloating. I know that the pain and discomfort will be eliminated with the Gas-X® Ultra Strength Softgels. I now make sure I have a supply both in my home and in my purse while traveling. I pass gad way too much, when i wake up, goin to sleep, after drinkin milk.... And they stunk up the room. These pills work so great i dont pass gas more than twice a day and they dont smell. I take one in the morning after breakfast and keep them in my purse just incase i need one more.
Gas-x is usually my go to brand. While I understand the Ultra being a good marketing tool or catch phrase, I don't find this being any stronger or faster acting than its counterparts. The softgel itself is easy to swallow and is fast acting. I don't find myself needing more than the recommended dose to find relief. I will rate this 3 stars because it helped with my bloating. Unfortunately i expected so much from this product and it failed the most important thing! Everytime i eat i always have gas and its so embarrasing. I Really had high hopes for this product but it did not help with my gas.
