i really like the ac and it works well. However, the only problem i have is that when i took the ac out of the box, it only comes with one side panel instead of two.
Fairly easy to install. A little heavy but installed it myself. It's actually fairly small. Will fit in a window that is up to 34" wide which is exactly the width of mine. I added some insulation behind the accordion wings because there are some spaces top
The unit seems to work OK for the price but the air filter appears part of it was melted during manufacturing. GE luckily will be sending me a replacement filter so I don't need to box the whole unit up to return... it does run a little loud and the fan seems to hit the styrofoam.
Easy to install, easy to operate. BUT, it IS for little rooms. It cools two great. My only problem is the filter light is ALWAYS on, even when the filter is clean and dry. It also is flimsy and doesn't seem like it will last very long. For what you get, the price is high. I will probably chance Facebook Marketplace for a good used one, but was scared because my neighborhood is full of drug users and I didn't want to inhale drug residue:)
Fedex needs to get on board with shipping items. First it was posted as delivered of yesterday, but it came today and it came damaged on the back. Images are attached.
Came damaged.. It doesn't cool off small area room at all.. I could have just kept my old raggedy ac in.. it blew way more air... Even on high it blows like a fan.. then its loud.. I thought this would be a good brand but.. try something else... I have no way to return this smh waste of money
Arrived damaged. I had to use a hammer to get the top piece to fit against the window. The meshing was all pushed in on the back of the unit from falling on something. I tried to figure out how to report damage and this was the only place that gave me a chance to complain about purchase. I installed the air conditioner but was very surprised it was so damaged because it was packed so carefully.
After waiting a week for this to be delivered and it being delayed multiple times the box had some kind of liquid looking damage to the corner of the box. After opening the box the air conditioner itself was covered in what felt like oil. Hoping for the best, I set it up and plugged it in at about 11 am pst. It is now 7:30 pm pst and it is NOT blowing cold air. I may as well put a fan in my window, based on the temperature that's what it feels like.
Should have stuck to my original plan and ordered from Amazon. Horrible communication from Walmart. My package was delivered before my expected delivery date. I received no notifications/ emails informing me of such. When the AC was delivered it was left on my stoop. Anyone could have taken it. When I finally opened my package the 1st piece needed to secure on the window was DAMAGED with a dent in it! Very frustrating
Not a good ac - I have a tiny 200sq ft studio and it doesnt cool it. Its extremely noisy like its about to take off Super disappointed Super sweaty Super bad
