Very well satisfied with our new dishwasher. Quiet-running and cleans wonderfully. Rarely have to dry anything that has gone completely through the wash cycle. Every item has been thoroughly cleaned.
I love my GE dishwasher! I don't have to pre wash my dishes, but I do throw away all the really big stuff to keep from having to clean out the filter on the disposal as often. This one is a little bit different than my last one on the very top rack which can be used for larger spatulas whereas my old one was for silverware which I liked. Just wish appliances would last longer than 4 years now.
So far so good! It's monumental improvement over our old dishwasher. Very quiet, not the quietest but still super quiet. Currently running it inaugural wash and we will see how it does
We love our new GE dishwasher! It has helped so much to tackle our piled up dishes to help us catch up! The stainless interior helps dry the dishes and is super easy to clean
I love my new dishwasher! It has the built-in garbage disposal which I love because I don't have to “wash” my dishes before I put them in the machine, although I do still remove the big stuff to avoid potential clogs and more frequent cleaning of the filter. This machine actually gets them sparkling clean! I also like the buttons on top so they aren't always accidentally being pushed when leaned on.
I love the look of this dishwasher, and it works well. However, the reason for four stars is because the bottom rack doesn't have a track and consistently falls off.
I just had it installed on the 4th and today is the 8th so very new review. So far, things are okay, I had a Bosch 100 for 8 years and it starting to act up so I got this GE because I had a GE stove and I bought a GE fridge when I got this dishwasher. GE only makes the slate color. So I wanted it all to match. I rinsed the Dishwasher 4 times since install and I ran my first cycle, which left some spots on the dishes. I put in the rinse aid and used the cascade that it came with so I am not sure where the spots are coming from. I did have it on dry boost and I do not have hard water. I will see the next time I run it if it happens again. If so I need to maybe adjust the wash cycle or something.
Newer version of a model I had previously. Looks good. Slightly louder than the old one but not much. Really like the 3rd drawer/top rack. Mounting brackets didn't work for my particular situation under a quartz countertop or for side mount but I was able to modify to work. Make sure you have a power cord it does not come with one.
The door is so light.. I was so used to my old GE. Nothing is made like it used to be. This unit requires cascade rinse agent or it doesn't dry well. The unit is pretty quiet. I doubt it will last 15 years like my old one.
We have owned this dishwasher for about 2.5 years. We are sick and tired of cheap plastic wheels and other parts that easily pop off of the bottom rack and then melt on the heating element. These problems could have been easily fixed if design engineers cared (or thought) at all. Who puts pop-off parts, made of materials that that melt, next to a heating element? Tonight's pop off part was melted on the heating element, noticed when I smelled smoke. Will try to attach photo. We have lost about half of the wheels from the bottom rack because of this.
