[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this cord around a week and a half ago and I used it to connect my vanity lights. I can tell you that from were I place my vanity to were the plug is, the cord is a perfect length. I did the connection all by my self and I am not an electrician. The cord hasn't gotten hot or anything. I totally recommend this cord to any one who needs a extension.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an old Tiffany lamp that stopped working. The cord had a short in it and my husband replaced the cord with this one. It is definitely long enough to reach outlets and was extremely easy to understand with instruction sheet that was inuded in package. I would have preferred brown but it's barely noticeable. This was a little thicker or a cord than the original I had on lamp, but it was an antique and most cords back then we're thinner. He was able to fish it thru the holes in lamp with wire. And the cord is made by a company name we trust.

Its feels safer now that I'm using this thick cord. Cords are insulated well, and if my cats try to chew through them now, I think they will have their work cut out for them. Very easy install, works great, should last for years and years.

This replacement cord by General Electric is awesome! the connector cable tips came pre-stripped and ready to go into the lamp. It was an extremely quick and easy install, and the lamp now has a longer cord than before.

We love the new look and the ease of putting it on. The lamp chain was very easy to change out and the length was perfect. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad that I got this product! I was in need of a replacement lamp chain for my favorite lamp, and this did the job perfectly! This 8 foot replacement cord is suitable to use with bulbs that aren't over 300W. Most standard lamps use only 60-100W, so I can't imagine having a bulb that wouldn't work with this chain. The cord itself feels very sturdy and safer than other lamp chains I have used in the past. If you have no experience with replacing your old lamp chain, have no fear! This product comes with really nice instructions in the packaging that makes it easy to understand what to do.
