I really like the convenience of touching the buttons for 1 minute or 2 and the 30 second button for short heating times. I also like the dark interior for splatter stains that occur. So far very pleased with it!
Replaced a 16 year old model with this one and very happy. Actually has more power and the reheat button is fantastic (seems to always get the food right regardless what or how much we put inside. The add 30 seconds button is very convenient. Just installed the stainless steel trim kit and the oven really looks top of line and blends perfectly with 16 year old profile ovens.
Looks great as a built-in and love the features. Hope it lasts longer my original model that's no longer in production. The old model had to be replaced twice in 9 years.
Great microwave. Must faster and convenient than my older one. Reheat option actually reheats to perfection. Large enough to accommodate most things needed to be microwaved.
One of the standout features of this product is its user-friendly design. The interface is intuitive, and I was able to navigate through the different functions without any difficulty. The manufacturers have clearly put a lot of thought into making it accessible for users of all levels. Whether you're a tech enthusiast or a casual user, this product ensures a seamless experience.
This has a sleek design . The controls are easy to use. The cooking is accurate. Has a lot of options and a lot of room inside I like the dark color inside instead of a typical white interior
Bought the GE Profile built in microwave & Built in Wall oven. I'm upgrading from white to stainless steel appliances. My son and I installed these with ease. The electric wall oven cooks well. It is more safe to use & less risk of getting burns or a fire hazard since the heating coils are not visibly inside it like its older version. Hopefully I won't have issues with moisture accumulation leading to rust. We made sure it had enough space for ventilation. Only time will tell but for now I'm very pleased with these appliances.
Our thoughts after about 2 weeks of use. The Good Stuff: This microwave seems quieter than our ~20-year-old GE Profile model. The controls have a nice touch sensitivity on a glass-like surface. The screen lock is an added feature that helps us clean the controls without turning anything on. Nice styling that generally matches our ~2004 vintage GE Oven. We used the 27" trim kit to stay consistent with the dimensions of our current oven. The Not-So-Good Stuff: The controls are hard to see in low-light situations (would have been really slick if they were illuminated). We're on the fence about the darker interior of the microwave. Our old one had off-white interior and you knew when things had splattered and needed to be cleaned. The darker interior of this model will make it harder to see any splattered food (maybe some people find that to be an advantage).
I gave 4 Stars because the Microwave is louder than the 23 year old Profiles Microwave I replaced. The interior seems larger. I have a handy man coming to trim the sides of cabinet so the Trim Piece will fit because this microwave is wider than old microwave.
Moved-in to a brand new house March 2020 with PEB7227AN3DD - serial numberAR262479 built-in with the rest of GE appliances, setup looks sleek and functional until it suddenly stops working. Initial symptom was the glass tray starts turning when the door is open, then totally stops operating a couple of weeks after. My only complain is the reliability of this appliance, aren't these appliances supposed to be reliable?
