Best price I was able to find good product.. I will order againfrom you when I need more filters.
We’ve used this filter for years to freshen up and help purify the drinking water that comes into our home from the municipal water system. Wouldn’t want to be without it.
We have had this for 15 years. But now the top is broken, I think. Water will not flow anymore. Does GE sell the top piece anymore?
Have used these filters for years and get about 6 months use from each one. They work so I stick with them. Discount Filter has always been excellent to deal with and even were kind enough to send free filters to my area during a water pollution episode. First class I would say.

I was hesitant to try a substitute for an original GE inline water filter, but had no choice since GE no longer makes the filter (our inline system is 30 years old). This filter works well. I'm very pleased with the product, the price and the customer service response to my inquiry to determine which filter to buy.
Easy to use/replace. Cannot find it locally. Use it as 3rd filter in catchment filter system for past 10 years. No one has had water related problem/illness in that time period.
We have been using this filter model for about, I want to say, 15 years or longer. It is a second stage filter in our house as it is down stream from a whole house sediment filter. It is a snap to change once the kit is installed and having found the replacement subscription service, with this visit, I will begin using that with my next filter replacement need. This GXRLQR filter has spoiled our family as to how water 'can' and how we think it should taste. There are only a couple of draw-backs to me, i.e. 1) the price of the filter and 2) that the kit doesn't include a by-pass valve to allow you to perform the 'flush' process without the 'contaminants' going through the whole refrigerator water reservoir system. I installed a brass compression T-connection and cutoff valve after the filter to allow me to do that. Saving clean water is important to us.
The item which is very good and which I have ordered before would of gotten a 5 star. But since I don't have it and can not use it you will only get 2 stars. In anticipation of receiving it in June as notified.
