The quality of these shorts are great. The fabric is a little rough to begin with but after a couple of washes they are very comfortable. They withstand all the falls and daily trials of my 9 year old son. If you have an active 9 year like I do, they are the shorts to buy. The dickies uniform pants are great too. High quality for a low price.
I love Dickies clothing because their clothes are sturdy- built to last! Although, this is my first time buying the Dickies shorts, I buy Dickies clothing every year for my son when he goes back to school. Buying any clothing by Dickies is well worth the money! Oh yeah, I forgot to mention they are affordable!!!!!!!! :-)
I purchased 2 pairs of these shorts for my son. To begin with...there were none in any of the stores in New Orleans, so online was my last option. Im glad I did take to the internet...I got 2 pairs for ONLY $18! WOW!!!! They fit my son very well and he looks AWESOME in them!!!
This is a great value item. The price is perfect. These shorts were for my son. We ordered one size up because in Dickies brand you need to order one size up and it fit a little loose but a belt fixed that. It's still a great buy. I will definitely order more. I recommend this product.
I believe the size runs slightly bigger but they have an adjustable waste band which is a plus, they are very durable and required some breaking in if you are looking for something soft this is not for you these are for tuff boys, and are made to last, I know from previous purchases, Its a brand I trust and will defiantly purchase again.
Bought this for my son who's starting kindergarten, hes 5 yrs old and wears a size 7. It's hard finding him shorts that dont rise up or are not to short in length (inseam) , usually in some shorts when he sits down the rise up, which makes it uncomfortable for him, and its difficult finding shorts that fit him nicely.. i wanted to get something that gives my son extra room/length for him to move, sit and play comfortably. As well something durable since he is a very active boy. These where perfect for him he absolutely likes them, and gave me no compliments.
I've never purchased Dickies before and was pleasantly surprised. My son liked the longer legnth compared to traditional uniform shorts. He's always worn slims, but is now at that awkard size of being narrow around the waist with longer legs. These fit perfectly. These are well-made and look good for school uniform shorts. I think these are a good value.
Great for uniform shorts & long enough the kids like them & comfortable to my son. The extra pocket allows my son to carry his epi pen injector on his person in comfort. He has deadly allergies and has to carry an epi injector on him and it fits perfect in the extra little pocket.
Loved the shorts online. Great quality and construction, unfortunately they run incredibly small compared to other brands carried by Wal-Mart. My son is currently in a size 6 in faded glory so I ordered size 7 and he couldn't get them past mid-thigh. Ended up returning them in store and opted for faded glory brand instead.
I bit bummed on these. Love the shorts, the durability, and colors but the length is a no go. I bought 3 pairs of these and in all being a size 8, each one is a completely different length. The blue is shorter than the black which is shorter than the tan ones!?! The blue are a little less than 15" from top to bottom The black are 16" and the tan are 18 3/4"..... such a difference for the exact same shorts. My son will only wear long shorts, so for the value I will pass the other two on to a friend.
