I've always wanted wool coat, but could never 1. afford one and 2. deal with the itchiness of wool. This was 1/3 of the cost of a traditional wool coat without the itchness of a wool coat. It's warm (tried it out on a day with the temperature at 21 degrees), stylish and the fit was perfect. I'm a big fan of the George line. I find it to use comfortable fabrics, great styles and true sizes. I have yet to have anything from the George line shrink on me after the first couple of washings. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.
Loved the coat. Is worth the price and more. Only one thing I was sent the wrong size, so I cant wear it. I am not going to send the coat back. Probably give it to my daughter. I am so disappointed.
I love this coat, it's very flattering for a bigger girl (which most things with a belt tend to make you look pregnant and this one doesn't). The color is exactly as pictured (I ordered the red one which is a deeper red that is almost burgundy). I would recommend buying a size up from what you would normally wear though. All of George products, even the plus sized ones, tend to run small. I got one size up and it fit me great!
I have to say that for the $29 I paid for the coat, it exceeded my expectations. Always question the color online then in person, but it's actually a great color. It fits great. Highly satisfied for this Walmart product.
This is a great coat, especially for the price! I bought it in teal and it's gorgeous! I am using it as a maternity coat in a couple sizes larger than what I usually wear. It fits well and looks stylish. I live in the lower peninsula of Michigan and it isn't the thickest/warmest coat for winter but it will work. Glad I made this purchase!
Beautiful fit, color
I really like this coat. It is a little snug and I should have realized it would be because it is George and that line tends to run a little small. But the length is perfect and I love the color. I bought the red and it is a deep red, more like burgandy, but I prefer the dark color. The only thing I wish it did have is a zipper pull at the bottom also so that when you sit you can adjust it a little. I think it is a real bargain for the price!!
I have big hips, - would'nt zip, but was a great deal & cute coat.
The coat is beautiful and the color is nice. The only problem is the fit is a little small for the size otherwise this coat would receive 5 stars.
I loved the teal color of this coat, which was not available in my local store. I tried on the same style in a different color to determine what size to order online and thought it seemed to run a little small, especially in the shoulders, so I ordered one size up from what I normally buy. When it arrived, I still didn't really like the way it fit or felt. I debated for a couple days and ended up returning it to the store. The overall construction and quality is alright and I still love the color, I was just disappointed with the fit. And when I don't like how something feels on, I don't feel satisfied.
