My husband insisted on trying the various odor block/scented bags. They all gave me a headache (and the febreeze ones ripped ridiculously easy!!) I went to the store and gave these vanilla scented ones a try as a last resort before insisting we give up. (I can usually tolerate vanilla scented items for some reason.) They are great! They have a light scent that, while I don't know I call it vanilla, it is pleasant and doesn't give me a headache. Garbage is garbage and it is going to stink, but these do help. And they don't tear easily. Price-wise they seem comparable to the other name brand similar items...but I haven't compared. Because they do what they are supposed to, I feel the value of price to product is there.
