I have been using Gold Bond products for many years and have never been disappointed. Their Ultimate Healing Hand Cream is one of my favorites and goes into my daily grooming routine. The non-greasy formula is thick and creamy, without leaving my hands to feel sticky afterwards. The scent is very light and does not interfere with my body lotion or cologne. I sometimes use it after a manicure with gloves on to keep the moisturizer in my skin for extra pampering. When I am washing my hands frequently, I find that the moisturizer keeps them from drying out. This is a product I always keep in my bathroom cabinet, purse and car.
I really love Gold Bond Healing hand cream. It works so well when my handa get super dry. I put it on and almost feels like instantly starts working. Feels a little greasy when first put on but goes away really fast. Definitely love this product.
I do nails so I wash my hand a lot after every customers. My hand is always super dry. So that why I used this hand cream every night to repair my skin.
I love how this hand cream is not greasy or sticky while having a pretty thick consistency. Hands instantly feel deeply moisturized and restored. Usually I apply it generously and leave overnight, but since it's fast absorbing and non-greasy, it will work great as a purse hand cream as well!
I enjoy this hand cream and think it does a great job of healing my hands and keeping them soft, it's convenient to keep on my desk. There's no super strong smell which some people like, I personally don't mind a smell. The thing I don't love about it is it leaves a sort of tacky feel to my hands while the cream soaks in and dries. But once it's gone, my hands feel so buttery soft with the 7 moisturizers and 3 vitamins that go into it from the cream. Overall, I'm happy with it.
Very disappointed that it is advertised as the same, but it's not! The new labelling is missing the word Ultimate, and product is a more watery. New formulation isn't as good. I will not be buying this again.
I have been an advocate of gold bond ultimate healing hand cream for years, but you have changed the formula. I know this because I got a bottle of the new stuff and I have a bottle of the old stuff and the ingredients are different. The old formula was wonderful, non-greasy and non-slippery. The new formula is slippery, and things slide out of my hands. It is so bad that sellers are selling the new formula with the old picture on it so they can sell it. Unless you change it back, I and thousands of other people who have given such reviews on your new formula are going to have to look for a new lotion and a new company. I don't know why you even attempted to mess with such a success, but what you got was a mess. Will never buy this again. Attempted to show photos with bottles with differing formulas, but it's not letting me add them.
I have been using this product for 3 years to get through the pandemic sanitizing. Either the formula has changed or the quality control failed to pick up a major issue because it's watery and sticky afterwards. It used to be so smooth and creamy. I hope this isn't a permanent change because I'll be very disappointed and will have to look for another product. My niece has an issue with over washing her hands and also uses the hand cream to counter act the effects. (The imprint on the tube is 226135. Hopefully if this is a bad batch you can track it from there.)
The product has changed!!! You claim it is the same, it is absolutely NOT the same. It doesn't penetrate as it used to and leaves a greasy feel to the hands. I used the 'old' version and was so happy I found a hand cream that I really, really liked. Makes me sad. Just take a look at the ingredients on both products, NOT THE SAME! I want the old one back!!
I swear by ONLY the Healing version of this product and have used it for years. I'm super disappointed... as I track down EVERY LAST REMAINING CONTAINER of the original. Once the label changed... and the ULTIMATE was removed, this product ceased to be ULTIMATELY good! Even the ingredient label shifted - where petrolatum shows up earlier in the list and it NO LONGER says that it penetrates 10 surface layers deep! This product is sticky and does not absorb as fast as the original. My boyfriend had horribly dry, cracking hands because of sanitizers and washing his hands in hot water most of the time... I used the ORIGINAL on his hands for 3 nights in a row before bed and his hands are so soft now. I am taking this new stuff BACK to my store and will be hunting down the ORIGINAL online as much as I can get.
