I clean daily and do use chemicals to clean, so that might be the reason. That is why this Gold Bond healing lotion has been my go-to. It is specifically made for dry and extra dry skin. It is a thick lotion that goes on very nicely and is absorbed by my skin well. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated, soft, and smelling great. It comes in large container that has an easy to use pump. A must buy for really dry skin.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I drink a lot of water but I like to give my skin that extra help to keep it hydrated, and this lotion is helping do that, specially when i put it on my feet at night. I like that it does not have an essence.
The ingredients are NOT the same on the bottles. I have both the old and new containers. This website says the new has the same ingredients but the bottles do not match up, regardless if they're listed out of order. The new does not have hydrolyzed collagen, hydrolzed elastin, retinyl palmitate, potassium hydroxide, diazolidinyl urea or methylparaben. The new has niacinamide and citric acid and disodium EDTA. The back of the bottle has rightfully taken away all the claimed benefits the original did because even a skin test doesn't match up. The websites are not even the same…
I have used Gold Bond Ultimate for years, recently they have changed the formula for the worst! It leaves a sticky feeling, no longer has a thick consistency to it. I now have to search for a new lotion that compares to the old Gold Bond Formula. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK.
The product photo says that it's made of water, glycerin, dimethicone, petroleum, jojoba, etc. I have been searching high and low for this product with ingredients listed in that exact order. Only the 1 oz tubes matches it. However, what was delivered is not the same (see photo). It's water, glycerin, petroleum, dimethicone, cetyl alcohol, jojoba esters, etc., which makes for a more greasy/tacky feel to it that I was trying to avoid.
Another VERY disappointed long-time customer… they changed the formula and it is no longer a wonderful lotion. Thinner and not the same. Will not buy again :/ Please put the dimethicon back in!
