I have enjoyed wearing Gold Toe cotton crew socks for years. During the pandemic, I took so many walks that I wore out the toes of the three pairs of GT white crew socks that I had remaining in my dresser when COVID-19 struck. Just last week I found out that Walmart is selling these socks online, so I ordered a six-pack of them. Because I wear a size 12 shoe, I ordered the extended size. They fit great and feel great. I wore them for a long walk yesterday, and they felt very comfortable. I am very pleased with this purchase.
GOLD TOE IS THE ONLY SOCK I HAVE WORN THAT LASTS LONGER THAN A MONTH WITHOUT WEARING OUT THE TOES. I USUALLY WEAR MY GOLD TOE SOCKS FOR A YEAR OR MORE WITHOUT WEARING THROUGH THE TOE OF THE SOCKS. COMFORT IS UNMATCHED ALSO. THIS MAKES THE VALUE OF THE GOLD TOE SOCKS TO ME FAR MORE THAN ANY OTHER SOCK I HAVE TRIED.
You can't go wrong w/ Gold Toe socks. Excellent quality. Hubby is a semi-invalid. The socks are tall, which I didn't realize. He struggled to put them on, as did I. I took most of them in the pack to my neighbor down the street w/ a note about why I was donating them to him or anyone else. He's part of the crew that picks up trash and recycling bins. Since leaving those socks and note, the lids on my bins are ALWAYS closed when rolled back to me. I'd say he liked them!
I have a size 13 shoe. Regular socks are tight and hard to put on. These socks are a little bit bigger and go on very easy. Comfortable and well made. I got packs of socks I bought and Tried and they are not comfortable at all and hard to put on. These socks are all I buy.

This 6 pack bag of socks by gold toe big and tall. Are a great fit and really comfortable. And perfect size. I wear size 13 shoe so the sock fit on my feet perfectly! I will re buy when needed again. The only thing I did not like about it was the way it was made. The front toe part wear the yellow marking is keeps shifting left and right. So you need to adjust it sometimes. It does not stay in its place evenly.
They looked great when arrived so the next day I put one on and they are the exact size I wanted but the top part is very tight and leads to uncomforting over time. I would never return them as they are good, just tight and maybe with time and a few washings that will go away. Based on local stores the price is the major advantage of them.
My husband had to slit the top band because it was too tight - this will obviously lower the socks' life after it's washed. Has had the same problem w/two other brands of crew socks.
Ordered a 15-16 sock for a tall man the Sox didn't go over his heel. Package said one size. They were not big or for tall guys. Returned them at the cost of $8.25 shipping. I wear a woman's 11 shoe and fit me perfectly.
1. These were ordered from the "big and tall" section. 2. Wear size 11 shoe and sock size 6-12 which are a little snug. 3. Ordered size 12-16 sock to have a more comfortable fit. 4. These were tighter than the 6-12? cut my blood flow to my feet, came home in pain, took them off and my legs and feet started tingling from the blood flowing, then the itching kicked in like a thousand mosquito bits, what an ordeal. 5. Was really expecting to be too big ?
