I think Goo Gone is a great product! I remember having and using this product some years ago when I taught Preschool. We would use mostly to remove crayon marks on walls and to remove the sticky residue after hanging artwork on the walls. This time I used the product on my rug.. I have high traffic areas from use of my many grandchildren! See pictures of the before and after of a stain on the rug.

A friend gave me some Goo Gone years ago when I had sticky tape stuck to my tile. It was amazing! When I received the spray gel, I couldn't wait to use it on some photo frames that had the sticky back of the price tag still on the glass. Worked like a charm. I sprayed a dab on the goo, waited a few seconds, and wiped it clean with a paper towel. No more stickiness! I will say there was a little bit of an oily residue. But, some soap and water cleaned it right off. Such a great product to have for those pesky messes that are hard to remove.

I like how Goo Gone remover spray gel works, it is like magic like what my daughter says. We use it to our carpet, the gum in my daughters' cloth, crayons on the wall and wax in our kitchen floor. The Goo and adhesive remover could also use to remove candle wax, glue, tar, and tree sap. It is safe to use on hard surfaces ( like glass, tile, plastic, vinyl, ceramic, granite, metal), carpeting and clothing. I can't use goo remover on unfinished wood surfaces, unsealed stone, unpainted drywall, faux stainless steel, rubber, suede, leather, and silk. I love the citrus scent of this spray gel, makes the surface smell like lemon. The bottle is with convenient spray with off and on a nozzle. We first tried it on the kitchen floor; first, we apply goo gone to wax stuck on our flooring, next to leave it for few minutes, then wipe it with a clean cloth and last clean the surface with soap and water. In the carpet, spray goo gone on fabric and gently blot the spot and clean with soap and water. For the crayons on my daughters' cloth, I ask her to take it off her because it specified on the label at the back of the bottle, it should not be in contact with skin or breathed in. I applied goo gone on the stain, cloth with a clean cloth and wash separately with extra detergent. The Goo gone will definitely in my cleaning agent around the house.

Goo Gone Remover Spray Gel, 12 oz … The only product I will use … The Best... I use this on any thing and every thing to remove labels and left over glue from labels...or any sticky on items... This is truly an awesome product and I swear by it... Goo Gone does a great job at removing sticky residue left behind! Goo Gone works great to remove any crayon or wax marks also , and to remove sticky or gummy residue from store labels. It does feel a little greasy, probably because it is petroleum based. When I use this, I do notice a little greasy residue left behind, but I usually use soap and water to remove it. I have used the regular Goo Gone for years. I was so happy I found out it came in a spray bottle. I have yet to find a sticky mess that was not helped by Goo Gone. I have even found that it will clean candle wax from my carpet...did an awesome job took the wax completely outta the carpet.. Goo Gone is my #1 Go To Product for any sticky messes... I will not use any other product... I received this product from the Wal-Mart Spark Reviewer program. This review is 100% my own.. Thanks Wal-Mart for another awesome product. Wal-Mart Rocks...

The Goo Gone Remover Spray Gel is definitely a must have for parents with little ones! My kids are always getting sticky slime stuck into the carpet and funrniture, it drives me nuts because it's so hard to get it out. Until I tried this wonderful product! It really gets the goo off! It's very easy to spray and the smell is very pleasant and not overpowering. I'm sensitive to smells and this does not bother me at all. My kids spilled chocolate cereal on the floor and I took before and after photos of the mess. The Goo Gobe Gel Spray helped with that a lot as well! I had grease spots on the stove that will not come off, no matter how much I scrub and whatever I use. But this stuff got it off!!!! I highly recommend!

I have used Goo Gone for years and have found it ALWAYS does a great job! It really does work! It can be used on every type of surface. I have used it to remove gum from carpet, floors and desktops, as wells as to remove adhesives i.e., glue, stickers, tape, pine tree sap (on my hands), labels that are stuck on picture frames, glass products, and decorative items, melted wax in/on candle holders, even built up soap scum on shower or tub and soap dishes. I have used it to remove tar-like goo on my car, and dead bugs stuck on car bumper and hood. The spray gel is easy to use. It is slightly thicker than the regular Goo Gone and has an orange citrus scent with a mild chemical influence. It is oily, citrus oil, and I have found the items need to be washed in warm/hot soapy water and rinsed well to completely remove the citrus oil.

GOO GONE REMOVER SPRAY GEL

this review is for the GOO GONE, GOO AND ADHESIVE REMOVER SPRAY GEL. this goo remover has a citrus aroma and has a slight oily consistancy. the bottle label states that it is a spray gel, but on contact with any object, it spreads out like an oily liquid. within seconds you can see that the GOO GONE is working. the directions tell you to allow the gel to sit for a few minutes before using a cloth to wipe away the debris. from my experience, if you dont wait long enough for the good gone to work on the adhesive, youll have to do more than one application. so you need patience in the matter. and it also depends on the project you are trying to do. the harder and thicker the problem is that youre working on, the longer you should wait for this chemical to work. the citris aroma is very tolerable but it is still a strong smell. make sure you are in a ventilated area while using this GOO GONE. i had old puzzle pieces that had crayon imbedded into them and i didnt know how i would be able to remove it. so i used the GOO GONE and briefly. i did not have to soak the pieces. just spray the gel and after 20 seconds i was able to wip away the crayon(wax based) using a paper towel. after the first few pieces, i only had to wet the paper towel with the gel and rub the crayon off. i was so happy because i have been waiting months. sandpaper wouldnt work on them. the GOO GONE saved me so much time. now i can begin crafting with these puzzle pieces. i also used the GOO GONE on a plastic antacide bottle where the label was so hardened onto the surface that even soaking it would not remove it. i used my thumb nail to somewhat scrape the top part of the label scoring it to expose the baked on adhesive underneath. i then sprayed on the GOO GONE GEL and let it sit for a couple of minutes. it had begun to work and i was able to scrape some label off of the plastic, but i had to respray because i hadnt waited long enough for the gel to do a thorough job. i was able to remove the entire adhesive. afterward you wash away and oily residue with soap and water. my mind was working overtime about all the items i was going to be able to salvage by being able to use the GOO GONE GEL SPRAY. i will be able to use this for everything in and out of the home. very great and useful product.

Ultimately it did remove the goo residue without damaging painted furniture . It was little help with stubborn label. I used rough washcloth, lukewarm water, & Castille bar soap to scrub off the label. After rinsing and allowing surface to dry the remaining goo residue did come off by scrubbing with a rough washcloth. The painted surface was not at all damaged. The spray dripped down the surface so I caught the drips to avoid product getting on other surfaces. It does remove smaller, less sticky stuff really well.

I applied the goo adhesive remover gel to stuck on adhesive tabs on my wall. I will consider the fact they are adhered to a wall with flat based paint. However, I followed the product usage instructions and it did slightly loosen the tabs, but only removed a fraction of the adhesive tape along with a small area of paint. The oily residue did not clean up right away with a soft soapy cloth afterwards. Approximately 4 hours later, I went in to re wipe the oily stain with a soapy dawn liquid soaked paper towel. At that time, I was able to completely remove the remaining tape and the oil stains were less visible. I guess the moral to the story is, some jobs may take longer than suggested to get favorable results. I recommend it because it just may perform correctly on other surfaces, or perhaps if my tabs were already off, or on a gloss based paint surface. It has a nice orange citrus scent.
