I bought 3 of these tires (2 tires and a spare) for our utitily trailer we use for hauling our motorcycles/trike and other uses around the house.
Just purchased tires for our trailer. Did not realize how much of a hastle it really is. We should have just gone to Sam's and not bothered with any other store. Sam's beats all prices and certainly customer service and all the hidden charges unlike the other stores we went to. Sam's is the place to shop for ALL tires hands down! You can end up spending $50 plus a tire for all the added fees such as rebalance, taking tires off the trailer, stems, etc., when Sam's charges $15 per tire for ALL tires!
They are well constructed, ride well on the road, made in the USA and Sam's club warrents them.
I recently purchased and had installed 2 tires at local Sam's Club. Cost of tires (235.52)/state fee (5.00)/installation (30.00)/NYS sales tax (21.24)/ total cost for 2 trailer tires (291.76). The following day I discovered at our local TSC store ST205/75D14 tires already mounted on new white, trailer rims. Cost129.99 reg,119.99 onsale. Tires w/rims(39.99ea) - 239.98; sales tax - 19.20; total cost - 259.18. Would have saved 32.58; added 2 new rims; saved old rims& tires as spares. TSC tires were not radial, but old tires were not either. Real cost difference - $112.56!!!!
The information supplied through your web site listed the GoodYear Marathon tires as- "USA Component Country"; and "USA Assembled Country". When they arrived at the club, they were marked made in CHINA! One of the big factors in purchasing these tires was that they were USA made. Thankfully, even though they were a special order, there was no problem in getting a refund when I brought this to the attention of the Tire Tech.
I did lot of research on trailer tires made in China. They have a bad record. So I was willing to pay more for these Goodyear tires that say in your listing are made in the USA. When I get them home I read on the tire MADE IN CHINA. So I would say that you need to change the tire specs. .Then i was charged $15.00 for mounting balance and road hazard. The same as i paid on my last tires for my SUV.But they don't balance trailer tires and you don,t get the road hazards on trailer tires. So I don,t think I got a fair deal . I have always got a fair deal and good service on the tires from SAMs. This product and price not so good.
