This phone has all I ever wanted in a phone. I've been changing phones frequently until I bought this phone. since then, it has been the sweetest phone ever. This is a great phone. It is fast, reliable, simple, easy to use, solid. The camera features are wonderful, you can take 360 degrees capture. The charging can be done wireless. Good image quality. Can handle almost any application you can think off. Also with this phone, you will be the first to get the latest software updates as soon as they arrive.

I was nervous about buying this phone at first because I hadn't heard much about it. However I decided to take the gamble after arduous research... let's just say I'm a winner! The phone's performance is very fast and the fact that it's a Google phone makes things sooo easy to navigate. It has a Siri-like feature that is lightning fast. The screen display is beautiful. Although I read the most negative reviews about the camera, I thoroughly disagree with it's supposed subpar performance. The pictures I have taken thus far are crisp and not too bright, which is how I like it. I have the 16gb and downloaded a ton of apps but I still have plenty of storage space left. If you are looking for a great smartphone for a reasonable price, I guarantee that the Nexus 5 is your BEST choice by far. If you care more about the name of your smartphone, you're missing out. But if you care about the performance and reliability of a smartphone, don't hesitate... buy this phone!

Google as Android developer known for launching Nexus series in collaboration with various companies owning smart phones. Among all series, LG Nexus 5 is the famous one. Collaborating with leading and one of the famous South Korean electronics company, LG Nexus 5 is able to meet the market demand as a high end smartphone that has all the features we have dream on. LG are already well known as a brand with qualified electronic device able to preset a smartphone with a 5-inch HD screen and a resolution of 445 PPI 1080p IPS, where we can enjoy the pictures and videos or playing games with clear high resolution without need to worry about scratches on the screen because it is reinforced with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen. It is also powered by a the 2.26 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2 GB of RAM, with a choice of 16GB and 32GB of internal memory, and is supported by a powerful long lasting 2300 mAh battery. Plus 8MP camera able to produce high quality images with a stable image and for person who loves to selfie, 1.3 MP Nexus 5 front camera is also not a disappoint. Nexus 5 equipped with Android 4.4 KitKat which now can be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop. It has an attractive and fast user interface and powerful performance. Another thing that makes the famous Nexus 5 is the improved features of NFC and other advanced functions like a camera that supports HDR +, wireless charging, tap & pay features, multicolor LED notification, and support the LTE network. Those luxury features are able to compete with other smartphones with a reasonable price and cheaper than its competitors. Sleek body design and light weight, making it look elegant and luxurious. Plus LG also offers a range of additional accessories to complement the high technology and sophisticated features such as the wireless charging dock, headset, up to a wireless printer. Since the release of this product, many people give high reviews and classified it into high-end smartphone with powerful performance, high specification, and an affordable price according to the class. So without a doubt, have and use the LG Nexus 5 raises the satisfaction and pride in itself. I myself as well as the owner's of LG Nexus 5 give full 5 ratings for the overall design, performance, quality, and price that are presented. For people who want strong performance smart phone with smart feature and function with classy elegant and modern design, but also have a great quality product in reasonable price, there's no disappoint or doubt to buy this phone.

As Close to a Perfect Smartphone As It Gets

I have been using my Nexus 5 since March 2014. In all ways except one, it is hands down the BEST smartphone I have owned. The one exception may be an Android problem instead of an LG problem. The one problem is that the quality of a voice call is poor (caller can only hear my voice intermittently) if WiFi is turned on. As soon as I turn WiFi off, call quality becomes excellent. Other than that one foible, the phone is solid, rugged and reliable. Battery life is acceptable especially if I do a few battery management practices (which I have done with every phone I have ever owned). The screen display is large and exceptionally readable even in bright sunlight (still visible albeit somewhat dimmer). Coupled with Android V4.4.2, this is the best smartphone. The other smartphones I've used have always had annoying and loathsome problems. The one wish I have for this phone is that battery would use a green/yellow/red color scheme for battery level. As shipped, it is somewhat difficult to determine battery status without using the Android OS 's battery display accessed via the menu system. If the customer could set thresholds for percent of battery to correspond with the colors green, yellow and red (traffic light metaphor), it would be very helpful. Not a fatal flaw but mildly annoying and irritating to me.

DURABILITY

I bought this Nexus 5 about 3 years ago and it has been excellent, however, it does not take kindly to going through a complete cycle in a washing machine. I dried it out and it worked great except the battery would only hold a charge, even when shut off, for just a few hours. We bought a new phone, not a Nexus. I read an article about people complaining about their cell phone breaking easily. As ours was no longer readily usable, I hit it five times with a hammer. Nothing broke. I charged it and tried it, it worked perfectly except for the battery failure. Thanks for a great piece of equipment (just not suited to a washing machine). Best. Phone. Ever.

After two years of abuse, my Nexus 5 was still going strong, but when I finally cracked a jagged scar across it's face, I figured it was time to let it go. I couldn't. So I went online and found the exact same model (this time with twice the storage capacity only because it was the best deal available). I was relieved not to have to deal with another model's "bloat-ware"-infested application drawer or any other limitations on my agency in personalizing my device. The Nexus 5 was/is sturdy, yet sleek, innovative, yet dependable, and aesthetically/technically dynamic, yet boasts a price that would seem to belie those merits. Then, after a mere five months with my Nexus 2.0 (as I'd deemed it), I cracked that screen even worse. I resigned myself to letting the device go once and for all, figuring the Nexus 5x to be the next best thing. Long story short: I discovered the original cracked Nexus when looking for a box to ship the new(er) one to a buyer,. I'm determined to keep it in play for as long as I can--or at least until I find something that surpasses it in functionality, appearance, and price. It's a trifecta that's tough to match. Generally Outstanding

I've owned Android phones by HTC, Sony and even dabbled with a Samsung imitation Star product briefly before finally accepting that if you want something that's half decent you need to run with something like the Nexus 5 - in the sense that you have Google's financial firepower and innovation to produce an amazing phone for half the price you'd pay for an Apple iPhone 5. With regard to style and ergonomics - prior to purchasing it, from looking at the images online I thought the styling was a little bland and average, but I was attracted by the performance that the early reviews spoke of. Now I've bought it I think that its is very well crafted. It is the right size between a large screen but not too big in the pocket, helped by the fact that the bevel around the screen is very slim. It feels very solid and well-made. I didn't want to spend a fortune on the official cases that Google sell for this - I would recommend the Orzly® - Multi-Function Wallet Case for LG NEXUS 5 - BLACK Leather Effect Wallet Style Phone Case with Intergrated Stand and Built-In Auto Sleep / Wake Sensor Functionality designed exclusively for the GOOGLE NEXUS 5 SmartPhone ( 2013 Model ). Performance-wise, it is quick, so much faster than any of the Android phones I've owned before as you'd expect given the absence of bloatware. This product seems to exude quality, and I'm really impressed after owning it for a few weeks. The only letdown is the inability to insert a micro SD card, so its worth thinking about buying the 32GB version.

LG G3 has great features but lacks build quality.

I've had this phone for 5 months now, i switched from the G2 to the G3. i absolutely loved my G2. It was solid, fast, never had any software issues, and i loved all the features it presented. When i switched to the G3, i was a little disappointed. It ran slower than my G2, and due to the removable battery and back cover, it didn't feel very solid. As you take the back cover off of the phone more and more often, the phone starts to make noises like the product is ready to fall apart, and since this phone has never been dropped and has always had a case on it, makes me nervous. Also, once i received the phone, there had been little white spots in areas of my screen, it looks like dead pixels or maybe burn areas in my screen like the phone has previously been used. The Quad HD display is nice, but you cant really tell any difference from the G2. One feature that has been upgraded from the G2 that I absolutely love, is the laser auto focus. It allows you to take pictures in a split second with amazing quality. Overall, if you have the G2, and want to upgrade to the G3, I would not recommend it. It does have new, upgraded features, but I found that the cons of this phone outweigh the pros.

LCD Screen shatters. Expensive repair. No cases

I was very happy with my Nexus 4, the features were enough for me, I check videos, listen to music and send emails etc. I droped probably 10 times and the screen never shatered on me so basically I was very happy with my nexus 4 this is why i made an upgrade to the 5. The very first week I was so happy, the phone performs amazingly fast... until I accidentally droped it in concrete about 2 feet height and the LCD screen completely shatered! I was trying to repair it but found out its 170dlls to repair (its a 300dll phone!!!) , Also, theres almost NO CASES AVAILABLE for this phone! and probably won't be because the screen shatters like its nothing. Word of advise... don't buy this, stay with your nexus 4 unless you are super careful not to drop the phone EVER, even with a case.

Worst Phone I Have Ever Owned

I am a tech-savvy user. I have owned many different high end android phones over the years. I work in IT Support and I am my social network's go to guy for advice. (for background). This is the worst phone I have ever owned. It constantly freezes up on me. There are apps from the app store that, at random, it won't let me uninstall. It reboots itself at least once per day. This is already the replacement phone and I am experiencing the same problems as the first phone. If it wasn't for a business account contract, I would toss this phone in the trash.
