I just bought this little guy today, all my life I had cd players and after 20 years I been looking for a portable cd player and I found this one. Sounds amazing, nice bass, middle and high frequencies. Nice features, light weight, good quality housing. I'm very satisfied since I'm a sound and music expert in need of listening my recordings. Highly recommend.
We have a "special needs" son who's crazy about listening to music, but due to his disabilities, he's pretty tough on CD players. These are perfect for his (and our) needs. Decent sound, 60 second "anti skip", and a low price, necessary because of rough treatment. They last anywhere between 48 hours and a week, depending on his mood(s)I used to be able to buy more than 5 at a time, though. Don't understand why site won't let you purchase more than 5....
This is exactly like the very first portable CD player I got eighteen years ago! Same setup, same anti-skip function, same repeat button, and it lasts a long time on the same pair of batteries before they have to be changed. You have to supply headphones for them this time around but it's easy to get a pair of those too. And this is the simplest and cheapest model you'll find for brand new and factory-sealed!
I bought this to listen to an audio book on CD's and I love it. Nothing fancy, easy to operate. A big plus is that it plays MP3 discs and is great for my old time radio collection. Happy with this purchase.

It has no external volume. So if you do not want to have to wear ear plugs, then this is not for you. -- The volume was good & I could lower or raise the volume easily and did not find any problems with starting/stopping/forwarding/stopping/ - I just played about 5 minutes but will return because I do not want to 'have' to wear ear plugs.
This CD player does not have MP3 playback as advertised. I purchased it online and returned it to the nearest store. However, it does play regular cds fine. For that I gave it 2 stars. I really wish I had read ALL the reviews before purchasing.
This cd player is so bad. It took me forever to find batteries that worked and then to find out it needs an AC or DC power adapter?? That's NOT included. I wish I looked into it more honestly no one has those things laying around.. I did manage to find a DC adapter in my house only for it NOT TO FIT the cd player. Honestly planning on returning this and looking for something better this was not worth the wait it took to get to my house
It was advertised that it would play MP3 from a Disk. It does not. This was a piece of junk. I bought a zoom box. yes I paid much more but I got what I wanted and more importantly what I needed.
I bought two of these and neither one works.
