I received the Alano FlipIt as a baby shower gift and I LOVE it! The flip it feature is so easy to use and it folds really quick and easy too. The car seat was very easy to install and the carrier is easy in, easy out. A friend of mine was in a terrible accident and had the snugride also; she had a broken hip in several places and the car was totaled but the baby didn't even have a scratch. I feel that my child is in the safest car seat available. I recommend this system to all my friends!
We bought the Pagoda pattern of this particular travel system and we absolutely love it! We are having a boy, but the colors would be nice for a girl, too. The fabric is very soft with vibrant colors. The car seat has thick and cushion-y padding so I know the baby will be comfortable. We live in the country so anywhere we go is at least a 20 minute trip one way -- so this was one feature of a car seat that I was insistent upon!! Stroller is cushion-y too, but not as thick as the car seat; which i can live with personally. Stroller is lightweight to push and lift, so is the car seat. Stroller is mostly easy to assemble. My only complaint with that is that the instructions weren't very clear on the canopy, so I accidentally put it on inside out. It was a pain trying to reverse it, but NOT impossible! closing and opening the stroller is easy as well as moving the handle bar from one side to the other --a GREAT feature I can't wait to use! I wish I had that feature on my first born's stroller! Overall, everything was easy and I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
I have been looking around everywhere for the perfect, good priced, safe, travel system and this is the one I chose! My Step dad purchased it for me and my fiance as a baby shower gift. The car seat is very nice! Great fabric, nice and soft. And I LOVE that it comes with a double head support. Big plus!!! Putting together the stroller was a little difficult for me. I put most of it together myself (at 8 months pregnant) Our stroller is a little wiggly in some spots, but I think if we tighten the screws that were already put together in the stroller that it will be more sturdy. Over all I LOVE this travel system :) haven't used it yet because I am due with our baby girl December 26! But I am sure it will work out great for us!
We have had this product for over two years and we absolutely love it. We are one that use our stroller a few times a week. The carseat is still I. Really good shape and same with the stroller. We are planning to use these with our next baby. We would HIGHLY recommend this product!
My family and I love this travel system for its ease of use and functionality. The car seat easily clicks into and out of the base, that is already secured to the seat, with one hand. Five point safety harness secures the baby comfortably in the car seat. The flip it system on the stroller is amazing. Just make sure little one's arms and hands are secure before changing the handle.
I got this as a baby shower gift for my son, and it is the best. I love the stroller and the flip around feature is the greatest, you can flip it to keep the sun out of their face and also I could recline it all the way back when my son was very small and flip it around so that he could see me, it is a little trickier to steer at first but once you get the hang of it, it is no big deal. The only complaint I have is the placement of the cup holder, I have to remove mine when I bring it to the mall or into a store because it sticks out and gets stuck on everything, but defiantly not a major problem. My son has recently grown out of his infant seat, but I will defiantly be using the infant seat for my next child, it is very durable and easy to wash. I highly recommend this travel system to anyone.
This was a great travel sysyem. I got it for my first baby. Plan on ising it again for the next. The carseat was great. Very easy to clean. The stroller was amazing. I loved the flipping handle! It made it so nice to keep an eye on my baby or for keeping her out of the sun. When the handle is flipped it can sometimes be hard to steer. But other than that amazing. I would totally buy again but i dont need to because it held up so well!
The stroller itself is pretty cool. I love the fact that the handle is reversible, and it is very versitile, so I can't wait to get my son in here when he comes. The only real issue I have is that the assembly instructions are really poorly written, and they are only three color (black and white... and red highlights for the "insert this here"). There are certain things, which once you snap them in place, are almost impossible to get undone, (like the canopy). So it would be nice if the instructions told you which side goes out BEFORE you have snapped it into place. (As opposed to telling you right after you have done something you can't undo... just wait, you'll find out what I'm talking about).
I love the flipping feature, And the locking wheels are wonderful! The car seat is comfortable for my daughter, and the base fits securely in my back seat. I feel very safe with this product. It's also gender neutral and great for parents looking to expand their family!
The product does what it it supposed, at least so far, but there are 2 things you must know about this product: 1. My daughter doesn't mind a carseat, but after about 20 minutes, she just starts sweating and then "loses it". And I don't blame her. It's 40 minutes to her grandparents, and she usually doesn't make it without crying. A lot. The fabric that this product is made from just will not breathe. We have to keep the a/c on and/or the window open by her just to try and make it over 20 minutes. 2. The baby carriage does not allow her to sit upright. It's at about a 60 degree angle, and since she is 3+ months old, she leans over and we are constantly "fixing" her. Overall, a poor purchase on my part - go somewhere else with your money.
