After 3 kids, I've had a few pack-n-plays and I have to say, this is by far my absolute favorite. The pattern is very gender neutral, and I can use it with any child in the future. The changing station has been greatly improved upon their previous set up. It's more secure and truly makes me feel better having my son in it. This set is not only functional but also astetically pleasing. I love the movable bassinet feature, how it can click in to the pack n play but also onto the stand. I keep the stand in my room but the pack n play in the living room. My husband sleeps till the afternoon so the bassinet gives our son a place near me to sleep that I can remove and put to the side when not using. While using the space below for his play mat which provides a space with walls to keep my toddlers from trampling him. The side baskets are perfect for holding the basics you need for a diaper change. This set has become a major fixture in our home and has definitely made life a little easier. I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Love this set up. We have a two story home and I loved that I could put a pack and play down stairs and a bassinet upstairs in our room. Our baby outgrew the bassinet after alomost 3 months but we just transitioned him to the pack n play. We now use the base for the bassinet for the changer. I wish there was an option to but another stand for the changer since the one we had broke.
I did not like the vibration. It's kind of crappy. It's very convenient however from newborn to toddler bassinet and a playpen, they will grow the changing table eventually.
I was so excited when my mom texted me to tell me that the Graco Day2Dream Bassinet Deluxe Playard had been delivered to my house. After getting home from errands I went to setting it up for my 2 month old. It took me about an hour following the assembly instructions to set it up by myself. I will note that the part describing how to put the pieces for the portable stand for the removable bassinet were hard to follow. After almost finishing it, I realized that I misunderstood a step and had to go back and fix it. That being said, I really don't think the instructions could have explained it any clearer. They had pictures and everything. It's just kind hard to tell what they meant until you had it almost assembled to see if it was right or not. Anyway, I am so glad I didn't let that confusion stop me from assembling the stand because it is by far my favorite feature of the whole thing! I have two older kids and it doesn't matter what we are doing or which room we are in, baby can be sleeping or just hanging out with us in the removable bassinet and all I have to do is roll the stand with me when we are going from place to place! The playard is in our living room where we spend a lot of time. It's so nice to have spit up rags and all my diaper changing supplies right there with the portable diaper changing attachment. Occasionally I remove the changing table and let baby sleep in the playard itself, though its really gonna get used more often when we pack up to visit family over the holidays. The portable bassinet part is super easy to remove and attach from the playard and the stand, but at this point I just leave the bassinet attached to the stand and take baby with me everywhere in the house! He's sitting here napping in the it in the office with me as I write this review! Overall, I'm in love with this set because it is so convenient and is so nice to have safe sleeping places for baby while I manage life with the whole family running around! I've already told my best friend that this is what i'm getting her for her baby shower (she'd due in January). She's a hard working lady with a big house and a dog who travels a lot. She's gonna have so much peace of mind having the playard for trips and the stand to keep baby nearby in the removable bassinet when she can't hold or wear her. Thank you so much to the Stellar Product Testing Panel and Graco for giving us this Day2Dream Bassinet Deluxe Playard set to try. You really thought through and made a product that meets the real needs of busy parents! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I received this playard as a sample from stellar product testing panel, and I'm so excited to have received such an amazing product! This playard is by far the best that I have ever used! It is very sturdy and easy to set up. Initial setup and assembly only took about 15 minutes and no tools were needed for anything except putting the batteries in. The removable bassinet is so convenient! I set up the bassinet stand downstairs in my living room and have the playard set up upstairs in my bedroom. It is so convenient to be able to just remove the bassinet part and have a sturdy bed for the baby both upstairs and downstairs! Removing and reattaching the bassinet is extremely easy and just clicks right into place. The vibrations and the music do a great job of soothing my baby to sleep. All in all, this is an excellent choice a playard for new or experienced mothers! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My daughter is having 1st child. Thought this would be Great! Has Everything a New parent needs for growing baby. Plus Graco products work together. FAST & EASY ORDERING! SUPER FAST DELIVERING
We have been loving this playard/bassinet/changing station! The grey is the perfect neutral to go with our decor. We use the changing station in our living room which is so handy with all the newborn diaper changes, plus we use the playard to store extra sleeves of diapers, swaddle blankets, and clothes. We have been keeping the bassinet in the playroom so he doesn't get steam rolled by his 14 month old brother as he plays. I appreciate that the bassinet vibrates to help keep him asleep when I transfer him and that it's removable so that I can keep him safe and near by even when out of the playroom. However, I do wish it had a handle because it feels kind of awkward to carry from room to room and it's a bit of a stretch to get it clicked onto the playard although it's a breeze to reattach it to the stand. (Note I'm 5'2” so if you're taller these likely won't be an issue for you, as my 6'2” husband can move it around with ease). With a fresh newborn, we are using the changing station the most but I love that even as he grows we will be able to use the playard for years to come. Side note: I easily assembled all of this without the instructions because I searched the box and couldn't find it - though I later found it in a built in pocket on the back of the mattress. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this bassinet! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
We love this purchase so far. Baby is 2wks old and loves the vibrations that the bassinet has. We love the mesh that allows the baby to breathe if she happens to turn over or squirm to that side area. I took off a star because it's a low changing table, our backs are hurting and hunched over while changing. I'm 5'6 and husband is 6'1. Also star removed because the entire play pen thing does not fit though a door is your trying to wheel it out while it's set up. Overall we are happy with our purchase so far. It was worth the extra $
Bc you can't use a sheet and the pad is hard to wash you end up with this. I wash it when I can but it takes a long time to dry and I need it for the baby to nap in. I really wish it came with an additional pad or sheets could fit
My son was born end of Sept and it was used till he turned about 4.5 months old. The packnplay is already ripping and has a hole and we haven't even traveled with it. Way to expensive for just 4 months of use. Also when we fold it up and try to set it up again it takes work to get it to lock so it doesn't collapse. It didn't do this the first few months.
