It seems to be very comfortable. It was easy to set up and install. The side tray and cup holder don't seem to stay on very well, but I really don't care about that. It is easy to clean and padded well. Other chairs were less padded than this one. My son is big for his age, so good support and padding were of importance to me. It is very easy to adjust the straps as he grows, just the push of a button and a tug. I really like that.
I used this car seat before I had my own children. I nannied in DC and had 3 precious girls. I drove a 4-door saturn and needed something for the girls. We found this and the seat was exactly the right fit. It was bumper to bumper traffic in the backseat, but all 3 girls were comfortable. I traded the saturn in for a minivan when I had my last baby. We went with the same seat for our 3 kids. My son is 5 and still rides in his- using the cars seat belt and my 2 & 4 yr old daughters nap often in theirs. I should buy stock in Graco!
*We have had this car seat for a couple of months and are very happy with it. We have already used this seat on long trips (one over 8 hrs long) and our 2 1/2 yr old son was very comfortable both awake and asleep. I love the way the high sides support his head when he sleeps. It is so nice to not have to figure out a way to prop his head up and not wake him up! *It is hard to pull the harness tight over a winter coat, but I'm spoiled by the ratchet system in our convertable seat and I think that this is a problem in all seats that are pulled tight by the strap between the legs. *We need a second booster and purchased the Reid color/style only to find out it is "the same, but different". It does not have as much padding in the bottom or low back and other little things. We are returning that seat and purchasing another one of these! We definitely recommend this car seat!
This car seat was easy to install in my car. My one year old enjoys it and it is easy to get him in and out of. I am very happy with this seat and am so glad that it will fit my child as he grows.
The product was short of expectations due to the lack of options. The reclining feature was needed for the user.
