Starting with one negative...the stroller part is bulky when folded up and will take up most of the trunk of a car. That being said, this travel system is awesome! The carrier/car seat part was a daily necessity for my son until just recently. He is 6 mo. old and has gotten too tall (and heavy) to carry around in the carrier. Since he can sit up now, we no longer really need the carrier part. Even though the carrier only lasted 6 months, it was SOOO worth it! The stroller part folds up easily for storage and has lots of compartment space for mom and dad. I love the fact that it reclines to different degrees including all the wayy back and you can seal up the front so baby can sleep laying down without worrying that he'll fall out the bottom. The stroller has harness straps as well so as soon as the baby can hold his/her own head, you can use just the stroller part on walks or outings because sometimes the carrier does get hot. Even though we don't use the carrier anymore, we still use the stroller. Well worth the money for a travel system!
We just picked up our travel system yesterday from Wal-Mart using the site-store FREE shipping...definently the way to go. I was unable to ever find this system in an actual store so I could see it in person, but decided to go ahead and purchase it. I am VERY pleased with the system, the material is very adorable and will look great with either a pink or a blue blanket in it...the pattern also appears to disguise any stains that may occur. Our baby is not going to get to test it out for a few months but Mom and Dad are pleased. One feature that is not listed but is a good idea, is the base has a knob that you turn to adjust the tilt on the seat. Can't wait to buy the other Kasbah items.
I bought this when I was 20 weeks pregnant. I loved the design of it and I just had to have it.. my son loved the car seat and he loved being able to stay in his car seat and look at me in the stroller.. it's amazing . He's 13 months now and he still loves his stroller! It's so easy to push compared to a different one I have. It is a little big to store but that's why it's a fill sized stroller :)
While I bought my system here at Wal Mart, I shopped around so I could try them out and the Graco Quattro Tour with SafeSeat was the easiest to use. It's a little heavy, and it is bigger than the snug ride, but I love it and would buy the same system again.
Can't really say anything negative about the stroller, I hooked up little speakers to it and play music from an mp3 player for him while I push my little one around. It's great when I'm in the truck but when we take the car it won't fit in the trunk very well. but that is all. You won't be sorry if you choose this stroller
I love this travel system! The stroller is very easy to set up and its also easy to attach the carseat to the stroller. I love the fact that I will not have to by my daughter a new carseat until she is 30lbs. We have an 07 Jeep Cherokee and I ended up have to put her carseat on the passenger side because I had a hard time lifting the carseat all the way to the middle. The carseat is longer than most and whoever sits in the front passenger seat doesn't ride to comfortable. I also love the print of this system. Although most people think I have a boy, even when she is covered in pink and with a bow!
received as a baby shower gift & was already set up. Its very easy to put the carseat in the base & the stroller folds down quickly&easily with one hand to put in the backend of our SUV. cup holders are a bonus along with the large basket on the bottom of the stroller for diaper bag. after a few tries i figured out how to use the handle to lower the basket to take out the diaper bag without taking my son out of the reclined position. get comments all the time on both the carseat & stroller.
I have owned this car seat for 4 months, it is a great car seat (stroller is great too!) However, i do not recommend this travel system to anyone with a compact car, when i first got it we had a different car and made the mistake of not taking the car seat with us buying the new one, now baby has to ride in the middle because it is the only place that will accomodate his car seat and it is killing my back trying to get him in and out of the car. I love his stroller and the fact that it is light weight and easy for me to put in the trunk of my little hyundai elantra. Great system, just have a vehicle that accomodates it.
My husband and I are expecting out third child and needed a new travel system (our other set expired). We decided on this one, and love it. The stroller is a bit heavy, that is why I gave it four stars overall. The color is nuetral for a girl or boy, and will hide stains. I do recommend this to anyone looking for a new travel system.
I registered for and received this set for a shower gift. I love the convienence of being able to open and close the stroller with one hand. The only negative thing I can say about this set is that the fabric doesn't breathe, causing my son to sweat.
