Bought this playard for a road trip and love it. Super easy to set up and break apart plus all the features are really easy to assemble. Took me about 10 minutes reading along with the instructions. Love the color scheme too. Ours is red and gray and my 10 months old boy loves the stars. My husband's 6'5" and this is actually one of the tallest pack 'n plays we've seen. The storage pockets are also quite handy, though we don't use all of them.
I bought this Pack 'n Play for my first child. It was perfect for me as I had a C-section and wasn't able to go up and down stairs to my son's room to use his changing table. I set it up in my living room; it had great storage for diapers and wipes and made life so much easier for me! Everything was easy to pack up when we went anywhere for the weekend. My daughter used it as well, and my nephew has been using it for the past 2 years (I take care of him during the week). It has lasted a really long time; we are pregnant with child number three, and it is still like brand new. Will be using it for quite a while longer!
I bought this pack and play when my son was a newborn and used it, as my bassinet in my bedroom, I like that it comes with the side storage and the changing area. It makes things simple, and my nights a lot easier. My son is now 9 months old and still uses it today, when I have to clean or do something where I dont want him crawling around I put him in, with a toy and he hangs out. Makes everything easier, It assemble quick and easy, and can move around without assistance.
Overall I am very satisfied with this product. I like that I can pop the bassinet out and move it around the house. I also like the storage on the end for baby supplies. The changing station is nice and easy to wipe down. Instead of using it on the playard, we use it on the top of a dresser that we store all of his changing supplies in. The bassinet can only be used in the playard through 15 lbs., but can still be taken out and used around the house as needed.
We recieved this as a shower gift. I like that it can be used for multiple purposes. We have a three story place, so we are keeping it in the basement where we work from home. This way we can keep her with us and not have to go to the third floor to her nursery for diaper changes
Set up of the bottom pad was a pain. The bottom pad on the main crib was very difficult to get thru the holes; not because the slits were too small or not cut, but because once you have the pad down the you can't poke the snap straps thru easily. Why? Their way too short so when you lift up the pad you don't have enough strap to get and pull thru. We're first time parents and I expected that part to much more user friendly and seemless of an installation. Makes you not want to travel with this item just because of this design flaw. All else was good which is why you didn't get 5 star but you did get 4.
This was a gift in leu of a crib and it was nice when my son was small but once he outgrew the sleep station it is almost useless. When he was a little baby it was perfect and convenient to have the storage compartments attached but now it is only the play yard and he doesn't like to be in it.
We've had this about a month now. Overall, the concept is great, some things could use a change though. The changing pad part needs made with a different material. It cannot get washed (wipe clean only) but is not made of a wipeable material. Ours is stained from a few diaper explosions and it's less than 1 month old, I'd hate to see how it looks in a few months! Because of the way it's designed, there are no covers that would fit or that could be made to help protect it from accidents. Also, the "mobile" part does nothing but get in the way every time we use the bassinet part. Luckily, it's removable and spends most out of the time torn off and tossed aside. If you're short like me (5'2") you'll hit the musical/vibrations/light display every time you bend over to get baby in or out of the bassinet. It's annoying and would be nice if you could move the control box, but the cord is so short, it's not possible.
This was a gift for my grandson, glad they were so happy with it! Love it!!
I bought this product thinking that it would be able to transition to a full size bassinet, not so. It is way more expensive than any other pack n play that can do that! The portable bassinet only supports an infant up to 15 lbs, my baby is only 2 months old and already 14 lbs and has outgrown the length of the bassinet! and at 2 months cannot be placed in the bottom of the play yard! The changer is awesome, but if you are looking for something that will grow with your baby this is not it! be prepared to skip a stage!
