We bought this for our son to upgrade from his infant carrier. It's really not that difficult to install (as some others have complained about). Just read the instructions in the owner's manual and you shouldn't have any problems. We tried several different seats and styles, but this is the only one that we could get firmly secured in my car. Snuglock is great! This seat is built on the 4ever platform, so it will likely be the only seat you'll need. I definitely recommend the LX version over the standard version because the Rapid Remove cover saves so much hassle. The harness straps/headrest are very easy to adjust, and the straps slide smoothly through the seat while tightening them to secure your child. The only issue we have found is that there isn't much padding in the seat and lower back area without the infant insert, and you can't use it if the car seat is front-facing. Overall, I highly recommend this seat for anyone that is looking for a seat with great features, quick and easy installation, and convertible and 4ever options.
Very good quality! Easy to adjust after glancing at the owner's manual. I got two of these for my 9 month granddaughter. One for my car and one for her mom's car.
got this when my baby was 18 months! it was SO EASY to install! i'm a single mom, and It helps when these products just snap into place. My boy is almost 2 and he loves his seat :)

Despite the enormous installation guide, it was pretty easy to install. Baby likes it. Cool color. Not going to test it by getting in a crash . . .
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ii bought two of these car seats (one for my car and one for Mom's) when my grandson turned one and was starting to get too big for his infant car seat. When I opened the box I was so happy with the look of the seat. It actually looked comfortable. It was nicely padded and it was pretty. I set it in the living room floor to get ready to put it in the car and my grandson saw it and got excited and ran to sit in it right away. He loved it then and loves it now 6 months later! Nice quality seat that looks great and is easy to use. Love it!
Is the trio grow car seat supposed to have the east latch? Mine did not come with it and it makes installation super stressful!! I want to throw this seat in the garbage and fry every time I need to remove the car seat!!
I was really happy with this car seat at first. It looks great and my son seems really comfortable in it. However, the straps are nearly impossible to tighten. It's fine in the rear facing position because I can pull the straps down from the back and then pull up the strap in the front. It's nearly impossible in the front facing position. I use all my force and still have trouble. Secondly, the warning on the side of the actual car seat pretty clearly says it should only be rear facing for children under 22lbs. Then in the IM and the website above it says rear facing is the sad test and SHOULD be rear facing until 40lbs?! So which is it? My son is 23lbs and a good walker but I still feel like he should be rear facing. I don't think it's right to have such conflicting information. I'm unsure as to which direction he's safest now and it's a terrible feeling. Overall, I do not recommend
I bought two of these in January of 2020. They're very comfortable for long drives, and super easy to install with the snuglock feature. We have really loved them. Unfortunately, I went to give them a clean and found the styrofoam on the head part was detached and cracked on both corners. I checked the other car seat and its styrofoam was also detached and cracked but also broken off on one side. According to what I've read these are now unsafe. I am so upset. I bought these thinking they would last until they grew out of them, but they only lasted three years.
The styrofoam is broken and I wouldn't had known if I hadn't taken it out of the car for a cleaning. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
