We've been buying these for years. Absolutely delicious when cooked in the kitchen or on the BBQ. They're better than Costco's and are 10% more lean. The price and weight are about the same. For great taste and a healthier burger (less fat) these are the best ever burgers!
These are just regular frozen beef burgers seperated by wax paper. If you end up with a bad burger I am pretty sure that is due to user error. They're not chewy or weird they're just beef. Put them on the grill and they turn out fine. They are always supposed to be frozen though, even right until you cook them.
These are convenient, they taste OK, but I was shocked to read the label and find that out of the 280 calories per tiny patty (after cooking) 220 of those calories are FAT which means only 60 of those calories are protein. How they label this 85% lean, I do not understand. I had bought this because my doctor has me on a low fat, low carb diet and I thought this was a good purchase. I was mistaken. Sharing to help others.
Normally these are incredible (have bought them for YEARS), but the last 2 purchases were concerning - about half of the patties had a much higher fat content and shrink/leave a lot of grease in the pan, leading me to believe that higher fat patties are being mixed in with the lean ones. Please look into this troubling practice.
These are the WORST beef patties i ever put in my mouth. You have to chew one bite for 5 minutes . Don't waste your money or time on these disgusting patties !!! I know this is just a review but you better listen, i'll stick to buying fresh beef and patting my own burgers.
Store obviously stored these in and out of the freezer. They have been thawed and refrozen completely unedible
the hamburger was defrosted, it was soft
This package arrived sliced open and I had to throw it all away. I do not trust that it was open
The worst I've ever purchased. By the time the cooked they were literally thevsize of a small sausage pattie. You can see in the picture a side by side comparison between pre cooked and cooked patties. My grandson was cooking so when I daw the cooked patties I was wondering where he found sausages because I knew I hadn't bought any. Surprise, Surprise, they the overly priced hamburger patties I purchased. Ro make matters worse, I bought these to SAVE money, but it cost me more feeding the family with these, then if I had ordered double cheeseburgers from McDonald's. What a waste!!
I unfortunately had to stop buying these and get a credit because there is a dark gray substance on the papers in-between each sheet of burgers. It looks metallic and like powder. Each raw hamburger sits on top of each sheet. I use to buy these each month. They were very good. They do have alot of grease even these that are less fat but I boil out the grease and they were delicious. I wish I knew what the gray stuff is. I miss them.
