these are great for the price.
I see no difference between this generic pitcher and a Brita pitcher.
I buy a new one every year and a 3 pack of filters.Lasts all year
just purchased due to water scarce and my family loves it!
bought this to try out fresh water at home so don't have to walk to the machines each week to fill bottles. it clearly does improve the taste of our tap water but not as watery tasting as the machines by the stores.
Water taste better run through this and if it is actually taking out all it is supposed to, sometimes this is a plus and a must.
The base is too small making it top heavy and tip prone. Why are product designers/engineers blithering id10ts? The lid doesnt fit or snap on well.
Normally I like the Great Value brands. But I bought this pitcher rather than the Brita filter pitcher because it was so expensive. Probably should have bought the Brita because the Great Value pitcher leaks all over the counter. I've only had it about 3 months. Everytime I add water to it, it leaks. Not planning on trying to seal the leak because I don't believe silicone is something you want to ingest. Guess I'll just store the pitcher in my sink until I bite the bullet and spend the money on a Brita because I'm not buying another GV brand. I see that another user also complained about the pitcher leaking. Probably a flaw in the design. Don't buy it.
I should have read the reviews before I bought it. My water doesn't taste very good after it has ran through the filter. it seems like water is going down to the bottom but not through the filter. if it wasn't for this coronavirus I would bring this back.
This is a case of you get what you pay for. I bought the 10 cup version of this pitcher and it leaks all over. In order to fill my Kuerig tank I had to set it in the sink. Spend a little more and get a brand name. It will be cheaper in the long run.
