Great item to have in the freezer for When you need a quick dessert for company.
I have used these for years and always have wonderful results with them. I always put a cookie sheet below them just because when I make some of the pies I get carried away with a filling and it spills sometimes but as far as the pan, I found them comparable to all the others. I mean, they ARE foil pans.
These turned out better than I thought, but you do have to put a little foil around the edges so they don't burn. Great price also.
Pie shell is not bad but pan very flimsy. I made pumpkin pies using the deep dish shells. You have to use a cookie sheet or something because the pie pan bends so bad you will damage the crust edge or spill the contents. I don't normally use cookie sheets because the bottom of pie dough does not get done. Be very careful
Just made the most perfect chocolate pie and was browning the meringue, reached into oven to remove pie when the pie pan totally collapsed on my hot oven door, feet, legs and floor. Will NEVER use Walmart brand pie crusts again. I have made hundreds of pies with other crusts and never had the tin pan collapse. Learned my lesson the hard way !
