I was surprised to see so many had reviews. I only add water and have told people I love that it doesn't have that sour taste a lot of store cold brews have. After reading the reviews a lot of people said it used to taste good but may have been a bad batch or vendor change. I don't think it's bad at all do maybe try it again.
Do not listen to negative reviews. I never write reviews but i had to write this one. This makes the best iced coffee. I put sweetner and great value sugar free french vanilla creamer add ice and this coffee and its literally better than my favorite donut shop iced coffee. Saves me $5.00 a day. Try it it does not disappoint. Its not bitter at all. i do not dilute it with water. Just with ice and creamer delicious. Enjoy
I have to agree with everyone saying the negative reviews are from people that didn't read the instructions. I was hesitant to try this because of the reviews, but thankfully I found the positive ones and gave it a shot. If made 1:1 with water, as the instructions state, it is delicious!! I took a sip of the concentrate and yea it was sour and acidic, as you would expect... So ignore the 1 star reviews and buy this cold brew!!!!
I love my coffee in the morning! I am on dietary restrictions so I had to adjust how I take my coffee. I add this to a protein shake and its delicious! I hage been able to turn this one simple coffee into countless flavors all without having so many different kinds of coffees or cold brews open and taking up space.
It's so easy! I added milk and creamer Instead of water (bc I love to taste the coffee) and it is so good! I'll definitely get it again, I didn't even know they had this but I'm glad I tried it.
I'm so confused by the negative reviews but I'm so glad that I normally choose to try products for myself. I'm unable to eat or drink anything even slightly bitter. There is absolutely no bitter or sour taste. It's delicious and super convenient. This coffee concentrate really is a top product.
I almost didn't buy this because of the negative reviews, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. If I were to mix a 1:1 ratio of coffee to water as suggested, I wouldn't like it either. I start with the amount of coffee I want, add a splash of water, a splash of milk, and creamer to taste. It's really good like that! I will buy this again!
Walmart needs to invest more in quality checks before anything is placed for sale. I wish I read the reviews before buying. Like a lot of other people have mentioned the contents of the bottle purchased tasted sour. This isn't the only item I've received with bad quality which is not a cause of the manufacturer but because of transport workers not keeping it stored at the appropriate temperatures. In the past few weeks we've received freezer burned items. With inflation prices this is highly unacceptable. I know I've said it twice but with inflation prices higher than ever Walmart needs to invest in quality checks even if it means sampling everything delivered, and then sampling food items on a weekly basis. Anyone caught disregarding the rules should be grounds for immediate termination no matter what position held.
I have buying this cold brew weekly since it arrived at my local store. Recently something has changed and it has an odd smell and aftertaste to the point that I couldn't drink it and I returned it. Hoping it was just the batch I bought, I purchased the French Vanilla cold brew instead with the same result. Here's the batches I purchased. Walmart did you change vendors or maybe the processing facility was cleaned and these batches were contaminated? Please look into this! I will not be drinking or purchasing these anymore unless I find out this was bad batches that are recalled.
I read so many reviews on how bad it was and some good. I refrigerated, shook well, did equal parts water, and added Starbucks creamer. It was disgusting. I smelled the coffee before I added creamer and it didn't smell good but I didn't think anything of it. It honestly tastes like clean products, as if something isn't right with it. Do not recommend as a cheaper option to Starbucks Medium Roast. Don't buy it!
