Was buying Jimmy Dean but these tastes as good and I like the large size. Not near as much grease as regular sausage and heat in the microwave in a minute,
I'm not typically a fan of breakfast sausage, but these are delicious! Very juicy and super quick!
love these patties. was able to purchase upstate new york but not locally in yonkers ny. wish the regular walmart would carry this item.
I love this product. First sausage I have eaten that doesn't give me indigestion. My Walmart just stopped carrying them, and I am going to try at another Walmart. Heat in the microwave, as they are already cooked. Great Product
These sausage patties are great! A minute in the microwave and their ready to eat. My husband loves them on the weekend on an egg and cheese sandwich. Perfect size to fit on an egg. The problem is tha my local WalMart quit carrying them, and I just can't understand why. Please bring them back!!
we love them. we cant get to the store everyday or often. it seems ur ALWAYS out of stock in the bangor and brewer maine stores. PLEASE INCREASE YOUR STOCK !!!!
I'd have to agree with 2 other reviews. One stated the quality(like so many food products nowadays)has been reduced, while the price has(of course)increased. Also agree with others that at my "local" Walmart(Lapeer,MI)the product is out of stock more times than not. As such, in my case anyway, it's no longer worth driving the extra miles it takes to shop at Walmart, just for this particular product.
I have been buying these patties for several months. I switched from Jimmy Dean to Great Value, because of the size of the patties, and the number in the bag. I considered the taste to be of equal quality. I've also bought Spicy variety. The last two bags I've bought have been of considerably lesser quality. The taste has become bland. The amount of grease that is left after cooking is shocking. It seems as if the fat to actual meat ratio is different. After being dissatisfied with one bag, I gave the brand another chance. The results were the same. I would not recommend this product anymore.
The packaging changed since the last time I bought these (circa November 2017) and I assumed it was just a packaging change. Unfortunately, Walmart appears to be sourcing these sausage patties from a different processor/manufacturer, and the flavor/quality is significantly degraded. I used to almost crave these sausage patties. But not more. PLEASE Walmart, return to your previous source!! I will not be buying them again for the foreseeable future...
For the longest time I attempted to buy the "Original sausages" in the white packages. No one in NY carried it any longer. While I was in Florida I found them, however the packaging had changed to a blue bag. I purchased them anyway. When I made them one morning for breakfast I was surprised how bland and greasy that these were compared to what was supposedly the same as the older version. These sausages have the same flavor as cardboard. I would like to know how you can label this product from as "GREAT VALUE". This was a big mistake. I will never buy these again unless Wallmart corrects this blunder and lets it's customers know what happened and how it will be fixed. One question, before you made this change did anybody bother to taste the stuff? By the way, these (the blue packaging) are still not available in NY.
