I have better success with rice if I use parboiled rice. I use to buy Ben's Converted Rice until I found the Great Value brand. It cooks up just as well and fluffy when following the directions.
This store brand rice compares well with its pricier competitor.
Never had parboiled rice before. Why is it so goood!!! Seems to be so much more giving when cooking too, hasn't gotten mushy yet.

I have always had a problem cooking rice. It never comes out correctly. This is by far the easiest and best solution to my problem. I follow directions on the back of the bag and have perfectly cooked rice in half the time every time I use it. I love it. It's my first choice.
