Comparable product to the original R.W. Knudsen family brand name juice. I usually buy this Great Value brand for the lower cost with similar quality. The essential characteristics of real organic cranberry juice are still in this product. I drink it since it's great for kidney health and uti and potassium content. Not sure why but the vitamin C content is usually missing from both labels. I could have sworn cranberries were a source of vitamin C. Maybe there are exceptions to the label regulations regarding essential vitamin and mineral content. I just wish the labels could be complete and accurate on all products!
Such a beautiful juice. So tasty. Reminds me of the red sweettarts. Dramatic improvement over R.W. Knudsen organic cranberry juice. A bit better than Lakeland-brand organic cranberry juice. Almost as sweet tasting as the fake-sweetened Ocean Spray stuff, but this one's actually no sugar added. The color is a gorgeous vibrant reddish purple. Only downside is that it's imported, but its flavor makes up for it.
I really like this brand, compared to the more expensive organic brands. Great Value has less sugar and a much better taste in my opinion. It does wonders for my smoothies.
it tastes exactly like cranberry juice. Unsweetened cranberry juice tastes exactly like this. People who are upset because it tastes bitter or sour or tart don't understand that cranberry juice tastes like that before the sugar is added. This is the real juice. Being upset about that is a little like being upset that unsweetened chocolate tastes nothing at all like a Snickers bar.
I opted to purchase 2 bottles of this brand on a whim in leiu of my usual more expensive brand due ongoing inflation and the appealing lower price, in retrospect I wish i hadn't. I have to agree with the more recent reviews that something is definitely off with this juice. For many years now I've drank pure, undiluted cranberry juice and have grown accustomed to the familiar astringent and sharp taste. This brand oddly does not have the same taste or even color and almost tastes sweeter as if it has fermented. It's also imported from outside of the USA according the the labeling, so maybe it sat too long on a cargo ship waiting to be unloaded and sold? I'm not a fan of it at all and begrudgingly will have to finish the 2 bottles of it already purchased since I don't waste any food or beverages. Don't make the same mistake I did trying to save a few bucks, instead buy the real stuff made here in the USA.
This is dumb. For 32oz they should have left the price at $2.98 instead now paying $5.53. Almost twice the amount. So pour some more into the juice then. Make the price match the product.
Not a good idea to substitute one fruit with another. Maybe a different brand but not a different fruit. I wanted pomegranate juice and a chose cranberry juice. I am allergic to cranberry. This is nowhere near the best match.
not sure what your supposed to do with this, you can't drink it its so bitter
Tastes fermented. Also some bottles have a caramel colored stain on the inside of the bottle. I drink 100% pure cranberry unsweetened juice from other brands. None of them taste like this. Bitter and sour similar to a lemon is normal yes, but not "soured" as in starting to turn/ferment. Has hints of prune juice taste. Something is not right.
Separated even after shaking well, low quality. Tastes horrible, doesn't completely dissolve in water. I've tried it twice now thinking maybe the first bottle was old or off somehow. But I will not be purchasing again. Purchased Knudsen for years and never had this problem. Sediment stuck to the glass bottle sides and bottom even after shaking vigorously. And there was always sediment settled on the bottom of my glass after mixing it with water or herbal teas, no matter how well I stirred it. Not telling what is in this stuff.
