Delicious!
Delicious and reasonably priced.
This was a really good restaurant quality salsa and it's organic. My only complaint is that it is quite salty. Drink lots of water before or after.
We've tried many salsas and for the value and convenience, as well as great flavor and consistency, this is our favorite salsa! We love it with tortilla chips, obviously, but I also like to use a jar of it with a pound of chicken breasts with a dash of cumin and chili powder in the crock pot to make awesome chicken tacos. It's great on southwestern eggs with avocado for breakfast, too. Overall, it's truly a "Great Value!"
This salsa has really good flavor and texture. The individual flavors stand out, it's not just tomatoes with seasonings. Now my go-to salsa, when I don't make my own.
This has good taste, it is more watery than the other which is more of a sauce. I can not find the Hot.
I thought it was really tasty, a little spicy for medium but good. I liked that there weren't huge chunks of onion and peppers. I'd buy again.
Was looking for the great value cantina, but they were out, so I tried this. It's very average and way too watery for me. Flavor is fine, not as good as the cantina, but I can't get over the consistency
I used to LOVE this salsa for years, up to a couple months ago!! I was so sad when it disappeared off the shelves and knew SOMEthing was going on. I have one of the old jars. I bought a new one when they were finally available. There are no longer green chiles, no longer any cumin, the organic garlic is now dried garlic-all the things that make a really good salsa. And they've added vinegar and cayenne pepper to make up for the green chiles….yuk! Not the same at all! They have not updated the ingredient list to show this, but if you read here the ingredients, then check your new jar, you'll see what I mean. I've tried every salsa at the grocery stores and the old version here was the best. I grew up in green chile country and this was my only joyful taste of back home I didn't have to cook myself. Wish they could see that when something flies off the self, that means keep it the same! I understand gas prices have affected everything, probably including getting the green chiles for their production. But I would prefer to pay a dollar more and get the same product than have only this dumbed down version available. BTW, I'm including photos anyway. New product is on left, old is on right.
This was amazing! It was out of stock for more than a month. Now that it's back, it tastes like stewed tomatoes. Why change the recipe? Won't buy again.
