I was nervous to try this after reading the reviews but i went ahead and tried it because the other brand was double the price. So glad i did, ill just be using this one from now on, remember your filling for your enchiladas has to taste good and have flavor also, i made chicken enchiladas with a rotisserie chicken, shredded it up poured a little chicken stock, a packet of taco seasoning , sautéed an onion and 3 jalapeños in butter tgen added it to the chicken mixture, then added almost 1 can of enchilada sauce to that. Rolled them up, poured another can on top and sprinkled with cheese, omg so good
Great enchiladas sauce. People go crazy when I cook with this. I would definitely recommend. Super cheap as well
Idk about y'all, but normally red sauce tastes kind of metallic to me. This one is SO FREAKING GOOD and has no metallic taste at ALL. We can normally make enchiladas last two or so days in this house, but not when I make them with this sauce, they're gone in one dinner. I will never buy the other stuff again, truly!
I always prefer homemade but use canned when I have to. Good, canned enchilada sauce for a fraction of the price.

The cans were dented to the point that was VERY difficult to open.

Watery texture. Nasty, sour taste. Reminded me of cheap canned saurkraut
This sauce is very watery and transparent. It has very little flavor except a metallic taste from the can. I am so sad I made dinner using this and fed it to my family. I won't be doing that again. Wasted good ingredients to ruin it with this sauce.
Walmart keeps giving me dented cans, week after week. I have to now bring in the store for proof. Such an inconvenience. I spend so much $$ with them. Shoppers need to examine the cans better. No one wants dented cans.
