Better then the most costly ones.
#sweepstakes Quick and easy with good flavor and texture. I bought this for my son who is going off to school and doesn't cook well. It works great for him and he gets good food with really no clean up later. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I love this product. I keep several boxes on hand. It is simple to make and the perfect amount for two people.
I like the rice -in-a-bag especially ,and once again,you can't go wrong knowing that great value is the best brand purchase to make. saving you not only money but giving you great tasting rice.
Works as good as name brand product.

2 of the 4 bags were not sealed together and the rice was in the bottom of the box
I have faithfully used this rice no problems until I was eating leftovers of chicken and rice from Walmart. Chicken was chicken breast Walmart brand frozen and cut into cubes. This was the brand of rice and the only other ingredients was soy sauce and brown sugar. I would've noticed this when mixing up my sauce and cutting the chicken this is the only other item I can place that this would come from. I just bought a box of this today before I realized this and now I'm very scared to try it again. All my ingredients were all Walmart brand products besides the brown sugar but all items from my meal came from Walmart.
after i cooked my bag of rice, as i went to open it, i seen a brown bug... the bag hadnt been opened...
The 14 OZ box of Great Value White Rice Boil in Bag makes it very clear, stated on both front and back of box, that it contains 4 bags of rice. Much to my surprise, when I opened the box, it contained only 3 bags. Not that I needed all four for that first use. I only needed one. The fact is, I trust what the package states. Yes I know, it is only one little bag, but it is the principle of the whole scenario. I will bring it to the attention of the Walmart store, here in Brownsville, Tx, that is if I can ever get them to answer the phone.
