My husband and I bought this set about two months ago. We have not had any issues thus far. We love the way our food cooks, how easy it is to clean and they are pretty to look at. We do not put them in the dishwashe, just something we've learned over the years with other cookware sets. I'm even going to buy a set as a housewarming gift for our babysitter!
The pretty aqua color caught my eye in my local Wal-Mart. I stopped to take a look and I was intriqued by the non stick ceramic coating. I'm always looking to reduce fats in my cooking and to cook healthier, so I decided to take a chance on the small fry pan. It was a joy to cook in it and I went back a week later and I bought the larger fry pan. I have been using the 2 pans daily for almost a full 6 months now and they are still perfect. Not a chip anywhere and still just as nonstick as day 1. They are wonderful! I feel that the ceramic is a safe non stick solution and I'm very happy with the way they cook our foods. I forced myself to wait 6 months to be certain that the non stick on the ceramic was going to hold up before buying more pieces and I now feel confident that these will do just that, so I'm here to purchase the full set. I think that with proper care this set will last a long time. I found it easy to follow the care instructions because NOTHING sticks to the ceramic! I have cooked all kinds of sticky messy dishes and everything just wipes out with hot soapy water. My care of the pans per the directions: Warm the pan before adding food Use slightly lower temps for cooking Allow pan to cool before washing Use wooden or plastic utensils Hand wash with soft sponge
I checked out the reviews for these pans as I was looking for new cookware. I started with one pan....to try it....than another.....that was it...I had the jumbo sauté pan 5qt. and the stir-fry pan....they were great...so then I ordered the set...yesterday...and they arrived today... Very little oil needed....cook at lower heat...low to med....everything turns out so good...easy cleanup...I may buy these for my daughter for her birthday... Try them you'll really like them...
I got these pans about a year ago now, I was kinda iffy on them because they had a cheap price tag and I hadn't really heard of the brand. Well let me just say I LOVE THEM. I have not had ANY scratching, or chipping. I use a mixture of wooden/metal/plastic wear and i've had no problems with the metal utensils. Usually after a year nonstick pans will start sticking, food still slides off with no problems. Clean up is so easy because of the nonstick. 10/10 Recommendation
Bought to stock our rental apartment but the quality was so much more than I expected I kept for my own kitchen. Have used each pot several times using only oils recommended and a lower heat setting. Very pleased . Weight is adequate , color attractive and the covers are see through glass and some even fit the skillets
Just got this set a couple weeks ago and I've been using them everyday... I absolutely LOVE them!!! Aside from the pretty aqua color, they are very lightweight, clean up is awesome and I can use very little oil.... They look so beautiful in my new kitchen, I've actually changed my whole color scheme to aqua and charcoal grey now!!! Highly recommend!!
I got these pots and pans in the aqua color and lets just say I absolutly loved them and I was so excited to use them! After the first few uses the coating started to come out of the pans and as the time went along it just got worse and worse and at 4 months of using them everything sticks to the pans like crazy. I would not recommend these! Very pretty but not worth it.
I purchased a set (acqua color) right after Christmas and I am sad to say I am disappointed. The coating is great and easy to cook and clean. However, the knobs on top of the lid get so hot that you cannot handle it without gloves. The heat changes the color of the "rubbery" parts of the pot as well: the area around the knob is getting slightly yellow and the part of the handle closer to the pan that gets more intense heat is getting black. I did not even dare to put it in the oven. I was excited about making a better choice for me and my family, but overall, I think it was a bit let down.
I have been wanting to get away from Teflon cookware for a while now. i wanted the Farberware set I saw on the Walmart website, but purchased this set instead because it was right in my local store. I bought this set on New Year's Day and absolutely loved them, at first. I have had these pots and pans for just under 3 weeks and 4 of them have chips in the ceramic. I do not abuse my cookware, I don't use metal on it, I don't over-heat them, and I don't put them in a dishwasher (I don't even have a dishwasher). I will be taking them back to the store and ask for my refund on a gift card so I can get the Farberware set that I wanted originally. Don't waste your money, spend a little more for a good name.
