My first job was on a giant fern. The rotating feature allowed a comfortable grip and good cutting angle. The job was complete in a couple of minutes. I believe the time and work savings were in excess of 90 percent.
I had recently purchased the pole saw and 12" chain saw and was happy enough with both to then get the 24" hedgers w/o battery since I already had two batteries and chargers. Having cut through two electrical chords with my previous hedgers, I couldn't wait to try the battery operated ones. I am extremely impressed with how much power they have, and how fast I can move around the yard and property. As long as they last, I would recommend these to anyone needing to keep shrubs, trees, etc. trim and proper.

When I purchased this trimmer, I already had the battery that fit the blower vac so I share the battery between both of them. I previously purchased all the worx tools and this doesn't even compare. More power and it lasts longer. Just trimmed globe arborvitaes which were huge down to nothing. Easy to use, and not too heavy to lift especially if you're a woman. I purchased this to avoid using the trimmers you have to mix oil and gas for. I'll never go back.
Great addition to my collection of greenworks 40v power tools. This trimmer is alsome much more better than expected. This makes the black and decker trimmers I had look like toys that I have already tossed in the trash. My age is 77 and it's not hard to handle. This Greenworks 40v trimmer will do the job.

I have a number of the Greenworks G-Max 40V tools including the Twin Force Mower, the Blower/Vacuum, and the line trimmer. They are all great and this one is almost great. The build is solid is big enough to feel like a serious trimmer but not so heavy as to be uncomfortable. I love everything about it except that even with a fully charged battery it does not go as fast as my corded trimmer and because of that doesn't quite go through it cutting as smoothly or as cleanly as I would like. Would I buy it again, sure but I just wish the blades moved a little bit faster.
Its a Christmas gift and haven't opened yet but I wish the item was in a box that doesn't show what it being delivered, its the holidays and when it is visible as to what is purchased anyone knows what the gift is
