I didn't realize that this item had a metal frame that needed to be put under it. It made the chair top very flimsy and it didn't stay in place. It was also put on an uncarpeted floor and we were afraid it was going to scratch it. Also, the bean bag type chair will eventually probably sag down in my opinion once the beans all gravitate toward the bottom over time. We returned the item the day after Christmas as it was a gift for my husband.
