We ordered Oregon Scientivic Talking BBQ thermometer a week before christmas. It finally came to our house that morning on Christmas Eve. We planned on making a 15 pound rib of beef. We looked through the instructions and it was very easy to read. We did have a question on it and called their 800 number and the people were very nice. Our prime rib was a hit. I love this thermometer it saved our Christmas meal.
Absolute junk. Bought one and it failed on the first use. Returned it without a problem for exchange. Next one lasted 3 cookouts. Next one failed on the second use...all for different reasons. Buyer beware! On a positive note, Walmart stands behind this poorly made product very well. If these things are disposable why are they so expensive?
