We have been using this humidifier for a couple of weeks now and are very pleased with its performance. It really is very quiet. It raised the humidity level in the bedroom very quickly.
This humidifier works well where the winters are so dry - I run it in the bedroom at night to raise the humidity while sleeping. This unit is extremely quiet - a great improvement over the unit it replaces. Others have complained about the brightness of the blue light, but that problem can easily be fixed by turning the unit around - especially since a nozzle easily adjusts the direction of the flow of humidity.

This humidifier is not small in fact it is very large. It does hold a lot of water and it humidifies for a couple of days if you don't turn it up to high. Medium level is best for a longer time to humidify.
This is the best humidifier I have owned. It is a little pricey, but I am hoping it will last for years. I am also hoping the silver technology will prevent scum build-up as advertised. Unlike other humidifiers that take several minutes to warm up before producing steam, this humidifier produces steam the second you turn it on. It also produces a very fine mist that you can easily see, and it is easy to direct the steam in any direction. The only dislike I have is that it is difficult to fill with water because you need to remove the tank completely and hold on so as not to drop it. This alone may make it difficult for an elderly person or a child to fill the tank.
The Best Humidifier ! No mold or mildew with this Ultrasonic unit and enough power to turn your home into a tropical jungle ;-) I purchased two units, one for the first floor & one for the second floor. Thank You !
The chief selling point for me was that it was a warm and cool mist humidifier. I've purchased both types in the past and thought that this one would provide warm humidification for the winter months and cooler humidification for the spring. But the warm mist wasn't really warm at all. You have to actually hold your hand very close to part of the the machine where the mist is expelled to feel what is called "warm mist."
Not even for one minute. Very expencive and never worked. Do not buy this product.
