I have used GUM Proxabrush Go-Betweens for years because I have receding gums and food traps everywhere! I have tried other similar products, including the newfangled disposable brush and handle all in ones, and they just don't get the job done. Of course, YMMV, but these are the best product for me.
perfect for bridge hygiene
The long handle refills work better than the disposable proxy brushes with shorter attached handles. I used to buy them at the drug store but for some reason they are no longer available. Is GUM promoting attached handles at retailers? That said, ordering online works very well for me. Please don't discontinue this product!
I've been buying the more expensive snap-on proxa brush with refills. These work as well or better,. Flubbed the first time I tried attaching the brush to the handle. THEN I read the instructions and got it in 2 seconds. I've reduced my periodontal pockets from 9's to 2's and 3's by using proxa brushes, gum stimulator, end-tufted brush and floss.
Thank you guys for keeping these stocked. Both my own experience and several hygenists have said these are vital for my dental health, even moreso than floss (I do floss, too). These are difficult to find in stores, and I appreciate your stocking them. Thank you!
I recently purchased 10 GUM Proxabrush Go-Between refills to replenish my supply. I have been buying these directly from GUM for some time, and they work perfectly for me. I have spaces between some of my teeth and the Go-Betweens, together with regular flossing, do a terrific job of keeping my teeth free of tartar and me free of gum problems. My dentist keeps telling me that I am doing an outstanding job --- music to my ears!
I have been using GUM proxy brushes for many years. They have been scarce here and I finally could not find them any more. Down to my last 2, I discovered I can buy the brushes online. I have been using these small toothbrushes for several years to clean between my teeth. I have gotten so disappointed at how few places carry them in stock that I went on line and ordered several packages. Gary C
I have been using Gum Proxabrushes for years, and basically I'm happy with them. However, I am a little disappointed that the metal wire that goes into the proxabrush holder seems to break rather quickly, requiring replacement. I wish the metal wire were stronger.
I bought the replaceable bristles on the extended "toothbrush". Rear upper teeth are especially difficult to get to with a perpendicular tool. I will get the "toothpick" variety in the future which unfortunately are single use, adding to cost.The bristle may become loose so there is risk of swallowing it.
