I use this product each day. I replace the brush filament once a month -- it holds up for about 6 weeks if I wanted to use it for that long. It's well-made and keeps the larger spaces clean that I have between some of my teeth. The price is reasonable, too. An all-around good product. Shipping is fast, too.
I have used different proxabrushes but the Moderate is a match for me. I'll know in 5 months if it improves my pocket depth. I have always flossed daily, used the gum stimulater to remove extra plaque, and used a mechanical toothbrush. I'm surprised the pocket depth increased because I perform the recommended daily care regime
I can't be without these. I bought 2 handles and 1 pack each of the moderate brush head and the wide space brush head. I use them to clean between my teeth before brushing with my GUM Technique toothbrush. This is better, easier and faster than flossing and not as prone to cut into your gum.
The GUM Proxabrush refills arrived before the due date. Convenient and great way to purchase them. Excellent product in cleaning those gaps between some teeth in your oral hygiene practice. Highly recommend them after using a tooth brush to ensure removal of any residual food left by brushing and controlling the build up of plaque.
It's easy to use, but I should have ordered the smallest brush.The medium brush fits only the last upper tooth. The customers need to know the kind of brush before purchasing. . I'll try to replace them with the smallest brush.
I use a proxy brush handle and don't find these brushes in local stores. You only seem to stock the individual straight brushes with attached plastic to hold which makes it harder to reach back teeth. Bring back the proxabrush refills to stores.
Our dentist got us started on the proxy brush about 10 years ago and they are so much better than other brands. Last longer and better quality! Really improved our gum and teeth health!
I cannot find these locally. I found this company to be the cheapest. This is my second time ordering from them. Service is fast. A slip up was made once, it was immediately corrected with apologies.
I have used 3 of them so far, and they seem to be working very well. As long as you keep using the wire that you are using for them it will be fine. Don't do what you did with the other proxibrushes and use cheaper wires. That's all I ask, keep the gage wire that u are using.
I failed to also mention in the "Title" that the cost of the product is unreasonable compared to the cost of its manufacture. I have been using this products for many decades. Years ago, I found that I wore out the bristles sooner than I thought they should wear out. Then, within the past decade, I noticed that the metal rods holding the bristles were breaking sooner than I wore out the bristles. Now, the rods break way before I wear out the bristles. I don't know how the metal rods were made in the past (maybe there were three rods twisted together and now there are only two - this is strictly an example and not demonstrative of the current product) but they are poorer quality and unacceptable as they are currently constructed. Nevertheless, the concept of the product is the best around and, so, I continue to use them.
