The first unit I received was damage... someone had dropped it. I took back to the store where I picked it up and they had NO issues. They even called walmart.com and told them to ship the next unit directly to my house at no charge. The new unit arrived in perfect condition. I did not have to make any of the mods for temp control as it will take the keg down to 26 degrees. I turned the temp adjustment slightly and now the keg is between 28 and 32 degrees all the time. I have no leaks from the CO2 but I did replace the plastic hose clamps with metal ones just for tightness. The only problem is the beer keeps flowing.... You keep going over and pouring another glass. I have to purchase a lock to keep me out of it!!! ;-) I would highly recommend this to anyone. I purchased based on a firend that has the same unit and he had to make the internal mod for the temp control, but it appears the factory has made this now. Great Unit!
After reading many reviews of all the brands I decided the Haier is the best value with enough favorable reviews to convince me to buy it. Easy assembly, cooled a quarter keg of Bud down to 32 deg. at the highest setting and the beer is tangy at 11 psi. Perfect pour with minimal waste onj fresh tap. Silver door adds class. I left the top shelf in to accomodate other stuff. No complaints at all yet and I don't anticipate any in the future. Good product.
Cold brew...it got down to 19 degrees at the coldest setting, so I adjusted it upward a bit. The main problem was the pilot holes drilled for the tower and guard rail were too shallow and too small. I had to drill new ones. After that, ok sp far. Only had it about 3 weeks.
Bought this for our office. I did some good price shoping on this and it was not the cheapest and about $100.00 over our budget. However, it had good reviews on Temp and flow control. As advertised this thing keeps a Keg of Lite beer at 34 degrees when turned down to full cold and the regulator lets you adjust the flow a bit to get rid of suds. So far it looks like it was worth the extra money because it should last us a long time more money means a better compressor. Also came with the line cleaner- a huge plus.
