I purchased this unit last summer when the heat just would not stop. Our home is 825' sq and two floors I have it set at the bottom of the stairs and during the day I have it pointing down stairs and at night I have it pointed upstairs and it controls the humidity for the whole house and while it keeps the temp around 79 - 82 it is much nicer than outside. I plan to purchase a second unit for the upstairs and I expect that this will bring the temperature in the whole house down. If the system has one fault it is the piece that connects the hose to the window. This piece should snap into the window piece but as it gets warm it will not stay in place so my husband used some pieces of metal and screws to hold it in place and it is working well.
We received our unit a couple of days ago and used the heat feature immeadiately. We have it in an area of about 460 sq ft and it worked great. Set up is a breeze and only takes about 1/2 hour. Can't wait for the HOT summer to use the AC. This product is worth its weight in GOLD and well worth the price.....
it was a great thing to buy!!! i use it everyday to cool down my house! it was brutal without it! i would recommend this to anyone!!
This air conditioners is all it was suppo9sed to be . quiet and very effeciant . Well satisfied
It's is a big unit and you need exterior venting but it cools our upper level well!
