This compact fridge is great. The freezer is big enough to hold a half-gallon of ice cream and two boxes of frozen pizzas. The fridge section is also spacious. It's a cute little fridge!
I have been looking for a refrigerator with a freezer. This one was just what I was looking for. Not only is the refrigerator practical and larger than usual, but also the freezer was larger than usual. The freezer will accomodate up to four half gallons of ice cream. I love that it has a separate door for the freezer. I would recommend this product very much.
This is a great mini fridge. The separate freezer from the main door is nice and works great. The height is a little bit taller than anticipated, but is not a bad thing. Have only had for about 5 months. No other problems.
Ordered this Site to Store so I did not have to haul it to where my daughter was attending college. They said it would be there between Friday and the following Wednesday. Sure enough, when we moved her in on Friday, just as we were finishing, got a call from the local store and said it was available. Couldn't have been scripted better. The unit is a great size for a college dorm. The separate freezer is a great feature as it will keep ice cream frozen without freezing what is in the other compartments. Very quiet operation. What more can you say, works as advertised.
The unit unpacked nicely. The freezer is quite spacious -- large enough for a 1/2 gallon ice cream container. The included ice tray was really small; you need to buy your own. The refrigerator cools well, but it is very sensitive to blockage of the cold air inlet in the top-back area. This needs to be kept free from foods and bottles. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase.
Purchased for my son to use in his dorm. We chose this because of the freezer and weren't disappointed. He'll be able to keep several frozen meals in his room. He hasn't moved yet, so I don't know how durable the product is, but it looks well made.
I purchased this for my daughter's dorm room and it's just as advertised. Both refridgerator & freezer sections work well, and unit runs very quietly. I'd definitely purchase again...
Good for the money. I like the separate freezer compartment. I had one before that had just a freezer compartment in the frig and it would not freeze anything! Haven't had this very long, but so far it is very good.
I bought this for my wife's classroom and it seemed like a good deal at the time; she really liked the separate freezer compartment. However, after a couple of months the compressor quit and the unit wouldn't work anymore. We had bought the warranty plan at checkout and tried numerous times to work through Haier America to get a replacement. Their customer service must be trained to give you the runaround every time you call or email. They would promise a replacement would be shipped, then weeks would go by with nothing. My wife would call and ask for a supervisor/manager, only to be told, "that's not the way it works here, you have to talk to me." My wife eventually gave up any hope of a replacement from Haier, so now we have a lawn ornament. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND A HAIER PRODUCT!!!
The only thing that worked was the light inside. The compressor did not start at all. It was a lot of my time picking the unit up at Wal Mart, unpacking and then repacking and returning it to the store. WalMart was very good about crediting my account, but I could never buy another Haier product based on this experience.
