Works well..... It says the chiller goes down to 38 degrees. It was on for 2 hours and never quite got that cold. It got to 41 degrees. It's not a metal casing it's a silver finish. But it matches well with my other stainless serving appliances. It works get for fight night with someone always leaving the rum out to get warm. I would say it's a great appliance for the price.
I bought this product as a gift. The person I gave it to seemed to like it very much. She serves and drinks wine mostly during entertaining. This product will make it easier for her to enjoy her wine without the hassle of "does the wine need to be put back in the frig or is room temperature the "right" temperature".
TAKES A LITTLE TO BRING THE PRODUCT TO THE TEMP. THAN I EXPECTED BUT STILL A GOOD PRODUCT
This product is terrible! It does nothing that the company says it will do. Wine only gets lukewarm, at the most. The temperature of the wine is supposed to be able to go down as low as 38 degrees. It just doesn't fulfill anything that it is supposed to. In fact, I am returning mine, because it just doesn't work!
Mine worked for the first bottle I tried, and then it stopped. You can crank the temperature all the way down but the bottle temperature never changes. I am returning this today.
