the dispenser is fine and seems to work well a little pricey compared to some others i have seen and the water doesnt seem to get really ice cold but not bad overall.
This water dispenser works great. It was easy to set up and didn't take long to get either cold or hot water. It looks very attractive on our kitchen counter. It runs pretty quietly which is important since our kitchen is near our family room and TV.
The table top water cooler is the perfect for our small office. Great value also. Thanks.
I purchased this product through walmart.com the experience was easy and quick. The water cooler is great sits on our bench not to bulky easy/simple to hook up and change water bottles on. The water is both chilled for summer and hot enough for my english breakfast tea in the mornings or my husbands coffee. Stable does not spill the hot has a safety feature if you had small children so they could not be scalded.Fantastic for our family. Is not noisey. Convenient in many ways could be easy moved if required.
Initially hesistant to purchase any water dispenser after reading the poor reviews most of them receive. This item is very functional for both hot and cold water, and is attractively designed. It does make some noise, like any other appliance, but after a few days you don't notice it anymore. Ideal for home or small office use. Cannot really comment on durability as I've only used it for about two weeks -- but it doesn't leak like the ones we used to pay to rent from water services. Now that's a concept!
I was looking for a water cooler that wouldn't take up floor space. This is perfect, and it looks very nice. The picture is all wrong, the cooler is NOT gold, it is silver colored plastic. The instructions say to make sure water comes out of the hot and cold spouts before plugging it in, i called customer service and the rep told me that its a different kind of pump now, so you have to pour water in there and then plug it in before water will come out of the hot side. Yay! it works and i love it. I put it on top of my dryer, out of the way. I'm so excited for my family to come over and we have fresh water available now. the only small thing I can complain about is that the drip tray should be a little wider so that I can stand my cup on there to pour the water, its too narrow and the cup will spill out. I don't use the hot water side b/c it would use more energy. i'm goign to try it out and see if it gets water hot enough for tea. This product is also energy efficient which is a relief. I would defnitely recomment this to a friend. Its Haier which is an awesome brand! Oh, i had read reviews saying there was a nasty taste at the beginning, there is no such thing! the water cooler was really clean and just perfect! we took it out of the box and used it.
We have only had this water dispenser for a couple of weeks, but it is really doing its job. The only complaint thus far is when you first use the product it has a melting plastic smell that it emits, even that wore off after about 3 days. The only reason I did not give more stars on durability is we haven't had it long enough to know.
The Haier tabletop water dispenser is a nice looking unit, however 1) I dislike that it does not let you place the water bottle in it without removing the water bottles factory sealed top (can be a real mess when installing a new bottle, Also without this feature you can not remove the bottle once it is installed without draining the unit) 2) The unit is a little noise yer than my Sunbeam was (which is no longer available) All in all a good unit at a little higher price than I expected without the feature I loved SEALED WATER BOTTLE INSTALLATION NO MESSES ***
Just that the water is not that cold. Not like as if I was taking the water out of the fridge. I put the bottle on and that was it. No assembly, I just thought it would have come with the bottle since it shows it in the photos. I only found in the manual after searching, in tiny writing, that the bottle was not included.
Purchased this unit to replace 4 year old Sunbeam which started to leak. Looks sort of like stainless steel, despite being plastic. No problems or issues. Occasionally has burning smell since we've been leaving the heater on, not too bad. We wish it had the no spill feature in the resevoir like our previous one had. Now we have to take off the nice no-spill caps that our water comes with in order to use it, and mop up whatever spills out. No idea why they wouldn't include this basic feature. Also the drip tray is somewhat narrow, so if you put something wide on it like a large coffee mug you have to be ready to catch it. Heats and cools fine. The water isn't really hot enough for hot tea, but fine for things like oatmeal and soaking the hard dog food for our older dog with no teeth.
