I've been looking at this exact costume from other places for quite some time now, and finally bought it here because this was a very well-priced and convenient deal. Fits well, colors are just as bright as in the photo, and it's at least $10 cheaper than the exact same costume from other websites. Plus, the site-to-store delivery worked out great, since my local Walmart didn't carry it.
I'm a true 00, an XXS and I bought an XS expecting it would be too big and thinking it would have to be altered but to my surprise, it fits! The top stretches to fit larger sizes but it didn't fall off on me! So if you're super thin like me, then don't worry about an XS being too big.
I loved the costume, it looked great, fit well, and had tons of detail! I ordered the medium (normally I'm a medium, about a size 8) and it's big, the size says 10-14, but it's definitely manageable. It is super cute, and my boyfriend's going to be superman so we'll just be a super couple! Buy it, it's a great great value for the price!!
i really liked the costume when i first saw it, my only thing, is that is doesn't look exacty like it does on the cover, and the boot tops are a little weird, they are nothing like the picture. but for the price, who am i to complain. overall i recommed it
I bought this costume, and couldn't wait to try it on. I had read several reviews saying it runs large, sometimes up to 2 sizes larger. I'm between L-XL, and ordered the Medium. It fits; a little snug in the waist, ample room in the bust (i'm a DD, and it was still a little loose). I'd read a review that someone's stars had peeled and stuck to the skirt. I noticed variations in color when I opened the skirt; the material does tend to stick to itself, but not too bad. I miss not having a lasso. I'll have to buy some gold rope from the crafts area to use. But overall, I'm pretty happy with the costume for the price I spent. I'd recommend it to everyone interested.
Costume is made of good material and overall is a great buy! Only complaints are: 1. size ran a little big and by the time I realized it was too late - they were sold out. Cape is a little uncomfortable, would have been better is it was sewn onto the costume. Boot covers are a little big and like to fall down. I was impressed at the material and workmanship of the costume.
The costume runs big, it is super cute, the quality is good for the price... I have looked at the halloween stores and they sell this same costume for 50 buck. It would be better if you are big chested, I had to use some tape so that the top part wouldnt fall off.... other than that I love it :)
I actually ordered this costume from another website and paid over $50. I was very disappointed in the quality of the sewing. The materials used were pretty good, but the costume fell apart when I was just trying it on. Luckily, I knew a seamstress who could help me out. I was disappointed that the costume did not come with a lasso nor a loop to attach one to, like she had on the show. I had to add those touches myself. So...basically the idea is there, but the workmanship is quite poor. If you are handy with a sewing machine, it is a great cheap way to go.
My only complaints are the skirt is really short and the boots are poor quality. The costume itself is pretty nice, but I'm 5'8" and the extra small is super short. I'm nervous to wear it to work, will wear leggings under it for modesty. The "boot tops" do not look like the ones in the picture at all. They are red velvet stretch and the white vinyl turned pink from the red dye in the velvet. They also are for flat shoes, and would look funny if worn over a heel. I will probably go buy red boots separately at the costume shop because they look weird.
I bought this costume from Walmart.com because they had the best price. The dress fits very well, but the head piece and the arm bands are smaller than pictured. Also, the boot covers do not fit around a shoe. i had to go buy some elastics and sew them around the covers so they would looked fitted against the shoe and not so loose. There is nothing that keeps the toe part on the shoe.
