I purchased this blender for my husband so he could take the blender with him to work so that he could blend himself something healthy. He was very happy with the blender and said that it crushes ice very well and make nice creamy smoothies. I recommend this blender and makes a nice gift! The only thing about this blender that I think people should know about it, is that the blender blade is attached to the bottom of the stainless steal single serve cup and does not come off.
Of course, one can't expect a lot of power in a little personal blender but it does pulverize the ingredients to a drinkable state. I love the stainless steel since I'm trying to get away from plastics and I'm a fan of the portability. I have bought several so far, giving them as gifts to friends and family members. I must admit that I do "baby" my blender. I don't put in ice cubes. I put some ingredients in the freezer for awhile and I leave the frozen berries, pineapples, etc... out on the kitchen counter for about 15 minutes or so. Why put unneccessary strain on my blender?
I use this to make smoothies using either white or chocolate almond milk, strawberries, blueberries, and half of a banana. Works great for this! I love it and would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a small blender.
Great product. I like that you can mix your drink and go. And I like that it is stainless steel. I was afraid to get the one with the clear cup. We have ceramic floors, and almost anything that drops on it will break or shatter.
I've only had it for a short time but I love it! It works great for my breakfast smoothies!
I bought this blender to replace another Hamilton Beach single serve blender that had a plastic mixing cup. I loved that blender but over time cracks developed at the bottom of the mixing cup around the blades. Finally, the bottom broke out completely. I use the blender every day so it gets a workout. I was willing to replace the broken one with one just like it but while viewing the choices, I found the same blender with a stainless steel cup. Well, it was obvious that would solve the cracking problem. The stainless seems to clean up more easily too. I love it! I would highly recommend this product.
Lasts much longer than the one they sell with the plastic container. Husband & I each make a morning smoothie so this little blender gets used twice every day, sometimes more. It blends the frozen fruit smoothly without hassle. You don't need those big expensive blenders or those fancy ones that you turn upside down. This little Hamilton Beach blender gets the job done, takes up less space on your counter, is lightweight and cleans up quickly. Plus there are no gaskets to break or get lost, just the stainless container, the lid and the base. I love this little blender.
I had one like this with a plastic cup that cracked. This blender blends my daily shakes smooth and easily. Love the easy clean up of the stainless steel. I have to put a huggie on the base since it is so cold and it does develop condensation. Easy to store and pack for traveling too.
My hubby and I love this thing! It's fast and does what it's suppose to. We like it so much, I just ordered another one, because we can't order an extra cup (only plastic is available as a replacement part).
I had the plastic version of this prouct for several years, but the plastic jar cracked and I wasn't able to purchase a replacement. Hopefully, this stainless steel version will last longer.
