The Blitz 5-Gallon Enviro-Flo Gas Can is a quality product that has exceeded my expectations. Any product of this kind was priced the lowest at Walmart. Was skeptical about the low price but it is everything I wanted and need: No leaks, no spills, easy to use, low price, and quality product. I purchased two and will recommend this to anyone.
Was just what I wanted. Very durable, very compact. I highly recommend. Best price than at many other retailers.
I bought 5 of these to store fuel for an emergency generator. I've only used one for the first fill up. It works good, the only problem is that it is a little slow. The stream could be faster, but not a deal breaker. I hauled all 5 home without any leakage and storing them in a small shed there is no smell, so they seal fine.
For me the following are issues with this gas con. First, the cap lock is difficult for an older person to unloosen. The first time I tried it was when I was filling the can. It took several tries to get the cover off and I had to use both hands. My hands are those of an Accountant, not tough skinned like those of a lawn specialist. So my fingers hurt trying to get the cap off. Second, the locking mechanism for the flow handle releases when you release the flow handle. This can be annoying if you want to continue filling as you must reset the locking mechanism. Third, the flow from the fill pipe is very slow. I use my 5 gal cans to fill smaller more manageable cans for use in filling my lawn mowers. Filling the smaller can seemed to take forever and then it still was only ¾ full. This is partly due to the difficulty in seeing the spare can fill hole because your hand which is holding the flow handle is obstructing your view so you must lean way over to view your progress, which as I mentioned is slow. And fourth, along with these other issues, imagine trying to hold five gallons of gas, you need a pivot to rest on so the gas doesn't spill.
the fancy pour / store handle is hard to manage, if you let you thumb slack off, it shuts off, then you have to start all over again, the handle leaks like a sieve, and the nossle is to short to fit in a car gas filler neck.
Had hard time pouring gas out. Side of can collapsed.. Hard to work vent cap.
